I wish. No i have no permissions along the fosse way. I keep trying but they either so no (probably fed up of people asking) or they already have someone.

Can you heat treat your folded metal finds? Apparently it removes the 'work hardening' at the fold and restores the metal's crystal structure, so that it may be 'worked' or flattened again. I was wondering if this process was utilised

im no expert but i have put coins in the over and then used a rolling pin to straighten them. mind you, this is with really far gone coins :)

If I remember right, if they have a hole in them, they have been clipped so much it shows that the coin isn't worth its weight in silver.
