Guys, Mihyeon never hurt her eyesight. She just made that up so they wouldn't know she purposely took the wrong grenade and let those people go. The glasses are just a part of the ruse. She used her agumented eyesight right after the incident to shoot the door open and she read the alarm clock without wearing her glasses.
Mihyun carrying the same stack of files was also an intentional failure.
I'm glad that you guys actually pause and to back to things that you missed to get clarity instead of just asking questions that are already answered on the show. The correct translation is "We need to verify his IDEOLOGICAL VIEWS", not philosophical views. a.k.a "Is he a commie, or is he a communist sympathizer" kind of question.

블랙요원은 최정예 요원으로 사람을 죽이는 것도 필요 시 가차 없어야 되는데
미현은 수석이지만 그런 부분이 약해서 일부러 실수를 가장해서 사람들을 살려줘서
작전을 실패하게 만들었고 이로 인해 블랙 요원이 못되었고 그게 계속 남아서 악몽에 시달리고 있었죠..
아마도 사람들은 살렸지만 본인이 의도적으로 실패 시켰던 임무 때문에 힘들었던 거 같습니다..
김두식 또한 해당 작전의 백업 과정에서 일부러 그들을 놓아주는 미현의 의도적인 실수를
보게 되었죠.. 본인 또한 상부의 지시 없이 비행기 폭파 사건 때 사람들을 살리려고
단독으로 행동했던 마음 약한 요원이었기 때문에 자신과 비슷한 미현을 보고 모른 체 해줬죠..
또한 그 모든 걸 지켜봤기에 의도 된 실패는 실패가 아니라고 미현을 위로했던 거구요..
덕분에 악몽을 꾸지 않고 늦잠까지 자게 된 미현은 지각까지 하게 되었죠..
즉 두 사람 모두 인간적인 사람들이라 이런 일이 어울리지 않는 사람들이었죠..
또한 현재 남산 돈가스란 가게를 하게 된 이유도 두식 과 자주 들렀던 남산 돈가스를 추억해서 한 거라고 보여집니다..
두식과 자주 들렀던 추억도 있고 맛도 오감이 뛰어나서 레시피도 알고 있으니까요...
