Why Brioche buns which have sugar in them for a savoury meal ? I know it’s the fashion now but there’s enough harmful sugar in most other things these days and I don’t want a sweet tang for eating meat; just my preference.

Yep agree, the ninja is a bit fearsome when cooking quite delicate meat, the hob and pan method is the way to go where you can monitor the progress and adjust in where necessary.

I think these are just a variation of the jalapeno burgers they did last year they are very good no denying it I find it's best to just dab them both sides with some kitchen roll and that removes most of the excess fat. Keep up the reviews I'm sure you have helped a lot of people make their money go a little bit further.

I've shopped at Aldi for over 15 years. The modern Aldi is nothing like the original and the 'premium' Aldi brands are poor quality with fancy packaging and this is detrimental to the company. So much junk sold there in the middle aisles too, I never buy anything because it is well overpriced. Both Tesco and Asda do Aldi price match, better quality too. My shopping was 70% Aldi now it's maybe 30%.

I remember as a child I learnt a lesson about cheap rubbish food. My mum never had a great deal of house keeping money. I asked her once if we could have some burgers so bless her she did her best and went to a local indoor market that had a frozen food stall/shop. She served the burgers up and I could see the minced up rubbish even down to purple ink from labels obviously printed on the skin of the animal. Totally put me off burgers though I do occasionally have one but I’m very picky about them. It was best part of 50 years ago and times were difficult bless her. She made a small sunday roast last for several meals but that’s what her generation did.

Another Great Vlog Gareth .They look GOOD. I will keep my eye out for some more tasty cheap things. But it's going to be hard in this day and age. Sainsbury's are hovering a good equivalent Pizza . But it's a quid. I will scan for different varieties of food.👍

If it's juicy and tasty... the job's a good 'un! Burgers aren't, (or weren't) meant to be gourmet food, surely. Why not use these if they're well seasoned and not like boot leather? As far as the weight loss is concerned, I've had wagyu beef quarter pounders that have lost that much in fat loss. These still look pretty substantial after cooking, so that's OK by me!

Times are hard now with food prices going through the roof, but I would rather make more effort and buy fresh and cook from scratch. These frozen meals are loaded with so many additives. I would not trust them. Even if you make large batches of fresh and freeze it, surely it's better than buying these? I know fresh is more expensive, but if you are savvy, you can make it work, it just requires more effort.

I mean Mr Baldy head, Goodfellas pizzas are not the same quality as they used to me, it's like they have changed the recipe of the sauce or something, it's like a lot of things. I remember when they were the kings but now that there's not much between them and your standard pizza it's not really worth the price when you can jazz them up yourself.

I don't like to be a grass but they've nicked that name Mega Burgers from Farmfoods. Naughty naughty.

Not bad. After cooking 123-124 gram is 0.27 lb so you're getting a quarter pounder tbh per burger

That seems good value for the price, a lot of meat and a reasonable amount of cheese. I know you don’t get top-quality cuts of meat for that price, but it is still a pound and a half for £3.99. The list of chemicals is in the brackets next to the cheese, not the meat, but it is processed cheese, so the chemicals are to be expected. The meat itself is probably not too bad on its own.
I do have to laugh at the serving suggestions on packets. I have seen things like a serving suggestion that was a picture of a huge roast dinner and the item being sold was a packet of salt, or a fancy gateau and the item being sold was a packet of sugar! You ain’t fooling nobody, manufacturers!

Gareth you are at the age where eating this type of food will clog up your arteries.
They look full of additives as well..
I'd be inclined to get the doc to do a cholesterol. check .
Many normal weight folk are surprised that their level is very high. I speak to you as a subscriber who ate what they wanted and now has coronary problems before 60

That pizza was a bit smaller but with all the money saved you could put a few toppings on yourself with the rest of the money and a pizza that size was big enough to feed 1 person...it wasn't tiny it was probably better to get that size than the bigger 1....we all stuff that extra slice down when we but the bigger sized 1's
