No way. I’ve been sleeping on a DreamCloud Premier Rest for a little over a year now. The pressure relief is bad. I’d give it a 3 out of 5. I have to reposition myself throughout the night to avoid cutting off my circulation. Aside from the lack of pressure relief, it’s a good value for what you get, but the new Purple lineup is a rebranded version of Intellibed’s lineup. I think Purple bought Intellibed in 2022. Intellibed is known for their Gel Matrix technology (same as Purple’s) which is used exclusively in mattresses for burn victims in hospitals, and as has been for decades. Burn victims have to have pressure relief. Though I don’t own a rebranded intellibed (Purple’s Premier or Luxe Collection), it’s hard to believe that a DreamCloud Premier could be considered as a comparison. That’s like comparing a butter knife to a screwdriver. Will they both loosen and tighten screws? Yes. Is a butter knife cheaper than a screwdriver? Yes. But the technology of the screwdriver is made for turning screws.
