Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony messed me up guys... I love it so much, more than the other games, but it really hurt so much. I almost immediately loved all of the characters so when all but a certain three died, it really hurt. Especially Chapter... well all chapters. They all hurt. I cried when the game was over. Keebo... and why did (that *B/TCH* ) Tsumugi... I really love them all (excluding Tsumugi) because they all either won me over during the game or I read their pregame pasts (lol just Kokichi's and Tenko's my two favorites) and (I actually loved Kokichi before I saw the game and I loved Tenko when I started it.) Kokichi's death was honestly too painful to bear as someone whose role was a tertiary protagonist and antagonist. I just can't accept the way that his life went. For the other protag-antags, Togami got to redeem himself and work for the Future Foundation. Komaeda is also alive and seems to be getting along well w/ the others; also redeeming himself. In comparison, Kokichi's fate was really unfair. He was prepared to sacrifice his own life just to end the game and even as he died, no one even fully understood his true character and motives. They still hated him in the end and didn't care all that much about him. Plus those times wherein he was really trying to get Saihara to side with him bc of how lonely it was and his plan backfiring because of Saihara's unwillingness to even try to understand him was really sad as well. I really can't get over how cruel his fate is compared to the other characters. Sorry for the rant as well ahahaha I'm still in pain

Kokichi chose to close off his heart towards the others and even proclaim himself as a huge liar and even in everyday situations that's a huge wall to get over for any teenager and even adult. In a stressful situation like the killing game, I can't fault them for not trying and having other things on their mind or getting distracted from Kokichi's words by his antics. I'm just sad that Maki got a better deal. I don't like her much but apart from that it doesn't seem fair compared to Kokichi's fate. Especially since she was willing to get everyone killed while Kokichi tried to save everyone.

He was on the verge of death, yet the only thing in his mind was the killing game itself. He didn't try to find a way to survive.. but accepted his fate instead. I'm sure he respected him even for a little.. even if he have doubts that Kokichi might just be using him for his final act.. still, he agreed to cooperate. Kaito is kinda like Kokichi's last hope now that I think about it... He entrusted his plan, his *final lie* to the person who among the other students, hated him the most.. Ironic, isn't it?
But Im glad... In the end, both sides became allies, 'cause they have the same goal. At last, Kokichi opened up his emotions about the killing game.. about how much he wanted to end it.. even if it means wearing a villainous mask, sacrificing his own life and someone else's life, and hated for it at the same time.. anger, fear, guilt, worry and sadness... after everything he's been through, as the Ultimate Supreme Leader, Kokichi remained selfless. He was on the verge of death, yet the only thing in his mind was the killing game itself. He didn't try to find a way to survive.. but accepted his fate instead. He then managed to come up with a plan.. to which he later passed on to Kaito.
Kaito, even though he despised Kokichi's guts, he decided to trust him in return. I'm sure he respected him even for a little.. even if he have doubts that Kokichi might just be using him for his final act.. still, he agreed to cooperate. Im just glad... cause I'd like to think that Kokichi felt somewhat relieved when Kaito gave him a hand... Which is one of the reasons why I see them both as brothers since they have purple colour scheme :'> Idk.. it's just a random headcannon of mine.
