@@Christian_counsel what does b6 accomplish? Do you mean g6? If g6, then Queen can still take the e5 pawn because the knight is absolutely pinned, and it forks the king and the rook. The only move I can find is Bd6 to protect the e5 pawn.
my chess improved so much overnight just by watching your educational videos. thank you! i think you make the best content for sub 1k elo players, the explanations are so good
I've watched quite a few of your videos, and you always explain the move... but this one was really excellent for me because you're talking more about the underlying strategies. thanks!
technically you don’t even need to take the knight first, you can actually take the pawn first as the knight is pinned; stockfish rates both of these moves about equally with a slight preference for queen takes first
Oh I thought almost the same thing but I first would capture the knight on c6 first, white takes, damaging his structure and then Queen takes on e5 with check. Basically the same thing but in this version black has doubled pawns
@@uzbekpod white maybe up a pawn but blacks pawn structure gets better because of the long pawn chain, as of the queen checking wouldn't be the best move because then you would have to move your queen elsewhere and none of your pieces are developed so yeah black is up in that position.
Mi piace di più il tuo barlettano che il tuo inglese, ma le facce che fai sono troppo simpatiche! Peccato che io non sia uno youtuber, mi piacerebbe essere allenato da te. :)
Alessia we love your streams, your personality and your aggressive chess. Please keep the content coming. You are hands down the most entertaining female chess player out there! There are other good ones but you are the most well rounded for ability, explanation and fire!
Alessia I love your videos it had helped me so much I was 1200 rating on lichess and now im 1440!! Because of you please reply to my comment so I can give you my discord and maybe we can chat about chess!
I like how you explain the reasoning behind the moves. You make it both fun and educational.
8:49 Missed Qxe5+. 16:20 I love how you went into Terminator mode after Nxc7.
I love terminator mode😅
( worth adding for newer players that Qxe5+ could not be stopped as the knight on e6 is king-pinned by bishop on b5 )
@@coast_valleyshould have played b6 instead

I appreciate it!
Your energy is amazing, you 100% have the ability to make people who dont care about chess actually get involved😂 I love watching you, subbed🖤🙏

When I watch these videos it just look so easy and logical... but after, facing the opponents everything looks different. XD
I know.. From theory to practice is hard but experience will help!
I love your videos.. Especially educational ones like this where you play against noobs explain the good and the bad of each move❤
The mistake is after bishop takes the knight, the pawn takes and e5 is defenceless so the queen can take with check
technically you don’t even need to take the knight first, you can actually take the pawn first as the knight is pinned; stockfish rates both of these moves about equally with a slight preference for queen takes first
I learn soooo much from just a few of your videos ... Especially the mistakes :) Thx
Hello Alessia, it's the second time i see your video for beginner, it's realy instructive. Thank you very much for take time for people like me.
9:35 white could play Q:e5+ because of Bb5 or B:c6+ and Q:e5+
Thank you for making these videos I think they are helping my learning I appreciate 😊
8:50 the opponent could take on c6 followed by Queen takes on e5
Or directly Qxe5
Great explaining… great video
8:49 i have multiple options :
-Qe5 check
-Bxc6+,bxc6;Qe5+
Im so Happy I just fondo you, you are awesome for real!!!❤
9:03 white could have moved Qxe5+, you cannot take with your knight cause it's pinned by the bishop on b5... Shit happens
This video is so helpful ❤
I love these vids, i hope u will continue with dunno 1000-1300 (stuck in that range lol)
Actually in the 2nd game of scholars mate your Knight was pinned so the queen could take ur central pawn
very instructive video, I really appreciated it
Seriously by far, the most fun is watching you. So good.
09:05 he could`ve taken your pawn with queen since your knight is pinned, or am I missing something?
You are correct.
Which pawn? Cause the queen is attacking only 1 pawn
Oh I thought almost the same thing but I first would capture the knight on c6 first, white takes, damaging his structure and then Queen takes on e5 with check. Basically the same thing but in this version black has doubled pawns
@Trisfu dude, I was thinking of maybe he could check the king over there. Let's see what Alessia says))

This was a super great video!
Grazie bellissimi video molto istruttivi in questa serie in cui parti da zero. Inoltre il tuo inglese é uno dei pochi che riesco a capire
The king Is naked made me laugh...😂😂😂 A great quote!
8:49 Qxe5
8:47 you just blundered a pawn lol
15:00 taking the knight would lead to winning a piece
Playing with explanation is very helpful. Thankyou .
(Sub you from this video)
I love yours accent 😁
8:49 e5 is hanging.

in second game, Nf6 was a "blunder", becouse of Bxc6+ . bxc6. Qxe5+ winning a pawn.
Hope you continue this to 2000 bc I can't reach that level. (My peak rating: 1999 🙂)
Thank you!
great video thanks
15:29 my piecesess, yeees... preciousss!'
17:17 noway I am a 650 elo this year and my opponent defend and attack efficiently except minority

Thnx Alexandra! Say hi to Andrea!

oh yea? idk but when I play the game myself my opponent plays like magnus carlsen and I play like martin
I really like allesia. She is Italian but very good with English. And she is funny person
oh... wait. What do you mean with "she is Italian *but* very good" ?? :)
It is not complete statement. Read it completely
Second game, he could have take E pawn because the knight is pin.
Grazie bel video
Hai qualche contenuto in italiano? Voglio mandarlo a mia sorella così può imparare a giocare a scacchi.
