very nice and a good professional review like Simon I am thinking of using this for weddings with colours to match the wedding choice
I agree... This needs to be available in the US.
Hey Simon, really a nice review. I would like to which 'table' that is behind the screen.
Greets
Nice review! I'd like to also find something like this that would go on a table top. Is the velcro only on the metal? Have you ever had a problem with people pulling on it and tipping it over?
Nice to see you back!
Great wee video mate, I've been thinking of getting one of these. The starball effect looks great.
you could knock one of these up for half that price, back in the 90s i got four bits of white perspex cut which i have built into a frame, it looked excactly like this screen but was very sturdy, i got rid of it in around 2004 because it was looking dated, now equinox have taken the same idea and marketed it, amazing wish i had now started making them, its a nice video explaining it but at the end of the day it will get filthy in no time aand at least the perspex was washable down at the end.
Ive got one of these, will do a review soon !! also do you know if the fabric is washable ??
Thanks for the review Simon. Nice to hear my ongoing rant was answered about the shocking music and uninformative video.
Hey Simon Canada here was wondering where I can find these in North America ? can't seem to find them anywhere online thanks
Hi Simon Do you think it would work as well using the white cloth that comes with the booth?
Fab video and i enjoyed watching it and gaining ideas for my wedding set up so thanks for that :-)
Cheers Lynsey, you're welcome, glad you enjoyed the video :)
@jazzyjaxroadshow Lol - the starball effect pleasantly surprised me as well when I watched the video back
NICE ONE @SIMON PRIMORE CAN I USE IT FOR REAR VIEW PROJECTOR ?
More info on the stand behind please. I'm in the USA but I know of a store nearby that is selling these for $200. Seem like an ok price?
Hi, it's just a standard Ultimax Stand which I can use as a 4ft or 6ft
Hi, I waz just wondering if i could use a mini laptop projector behind the screen, and if it would work as i am thinking of getting 1.
Hi Simon, thank you for you help !!! GREAT VIDEO
i really want one of these i wish i could find a place that ships to the US.
You can easily make one yourself, I agree, but it wouldn't be as good as it is to buy one.
A lot of DJ's i know make them from wood. As soon as that goes in the car and something falls on it it's broken.
The good thing is it is cheaper to make it yourself but if you buy them they are made from very STRONG alliminium! :)
cheers made my mind up :)
What is the frame made out of?
These are the specs mate
System includes: 4 rectangular screens and 4 lycra cloths
Black aluminium finish
Compact and lightweight design
Velcro strips
Specifications:
Dimensions: 30 x 700 x 1200mm (each panel)
Weight: 3.7Kgs (each panel)
Simon Pridmore So the aluminum pieces were welded to create the frame? I hear some people use window screen frame but this looks more durable and thicker. Do you have any suggestions on where I would be able to purchase the aluminum frame? Thanks.
Nice review !
Thanks mate, appreciated :D
There's no reason why you couldn't do that - sounds like a great idea
Sorry was half asleep when i watched it lol
I heard that a bike bag is the right size.
@djfrankis Cheers mate :D
@DjLouisBeeden If you watch the video properly you'll see I address this very issue lol
Bro you need a Lightorgel ;)
@MrBilbo44uk The Lycra is washable ;)
How would this hold up if a lump like me bounced up to say hello, pissed as a fart and stumbled into it? :)
