Good video, thanks for pointing out the flaws. Hopefully ADJ will make the adjustments. Right now I think it's still easier and looks nice to use a folding table and a facade with lights behind it.
Hey have you ever thought about taking the mixer out and leaving the turntables in the cases. And also you can cut out the holes you want and also you can put rubber in the clamps 🤓
Nice job. However some of us back light our signs, so if you still used your black facade to cover wires, maybe cut the facade to expose the sign’s shape. Remake your sign that has your name with opaque or thin white plastic. Put one light underneath table and you’ll create a lit DJ sign.
Great video... I have that table and did not have any problems. I love it. I bought the scrim and can put lights behind it... it works great, except the scrim covers the logo area so I made another logo frame and hung it from the top frame segment...it works. I was curious if your panels can be just white and if they are translucent enough to have backlighting with some floor lights or pars.
Very informative video! I just special ordered this from Guitar Center and seeing how my setup will have to be removed from the flight cases is a deal breaker. I guess a few of us assumed a "DJ" table would accommodate this pretty standard setup. Anybody in the St Louis area want a new-in-box unit for $375 ????
Hi Josh. Would you be so kind as to list (and potentially provide links for) the equipment that is shown when the video reaches 8:53? This would include the equipment that is within the ADJ Pro Event Table. Thanks in advance!! :)
Ive been tossing up buying a pro table, but its really not all that handy when it comes back to it, yes its sturdy and light, easy to setup but its too small for me also.
Got mine today and mine don’t fit perfectly together either. And talk about horrible sloppy welds omg. I’m going to do the same spray paint thing thanks for the idea.
I bought the Headliner DJ booth that’s mostly a copy of this and the welds are terrible. Same middle connectors and terrible plastic thumbscrews. I do like the look better but came here to see if the ADJ had a similar quality issue.
suggestion brother you should measure first your equipment with that carrying case before you purchase that event table.i really like that table too but still thinking about it and it kinda pricey :) i think they designed this for portable dj gear like sx, sz and not for the turntable with boxes.
Dj Hurt right! It didn’t affect my sale much, and I know it would be tight before buying. I’m fortunate enough to own several controllers like the SZ2 so it’s not a deal breaker that i have to take my S9 and turntables out of the case. Thanks for watching!
It is a shame you could not put an extension in between the slides and on the table lengthen it a couple inches also and the bars that lock it together
thanks for the review...think im gonna copy their design and make my own but for the "loose" parts" if it were me I would drill a hole through both pipe sections and get a stainless pin to hold it tight together...just my 2 cents as for the clamps I would think you could use a 3-4 inch pipe of some sort and using the same drill and pin method slip a larger pipe over the unit to attach your clamps. given the fact that its also not big enough for you and what they charge maybe you can return it. again...im building my own out of steel plumbing pipe and fixtures... thanks for saving me the time and money from buying this though
Thanks for the video. Very informative. However, perhaps try using a coffin instead of the flight cases. That might work a little bit better. I don't have the event table so I'm just guessing. I use a coffin.
do you get the feeling it could be knocked over easily when you have the truss and lights etc mounted on it, if an over enthusiastic drunk person approaches?
I know its personal preference but I dont really care for the look of these without the sides on it. The width would prevent me from buying this. Im a turntable guy with a 12" mixer and I have everything wired to perfection. There's no way Id pull everything out of the cases every gig. Im not sure how they let such a design flaw through.
Ultimate Event Lighting that is without a doubt the biggest concern I have with this booth. I’ll be using my controllers a lot more based on this and that’s upsetting.
If space is an issue for your turn tables and mixer why haven’t you just taken the S9 out of the case and leave the tables inside the case? I don’t see the issue with that. If it’s just a inch then you should be able to do that and have room to run cables behind the S9
Hey Josh, Like you, I fell in love with he industrial look but didn't do enough research prior to purchasing, and discovered a lot of these little niggles and quality control issues as I used it. 1) Two transparent 2) Don't like the big whole if there's no sign 3) Sign board poor quality. 4) hinges on one panel weren't welded on both edges. (discovered the issue when one snapped) 5) The shelf supports didn't have any plastic end caps on the undersides. This meant that he sharp edges of the steel cut into my carry bag. 6) Recent discovery. The lengths of wood on the underside of the counter top are only stapled, not glued. Had to do that repair myself. Here's some of my mods. still work in progress th-cam.com/video/rRYZziXlX4U/w-d-xo.html
Hi mate, just a quick one! How do you tidy the wires from yours lights on the ibeam. Do you daisy chain the power? I hitch cables do you use, by the way love your content from the uk
As for the tube thickness, was it advertised as any certain size? Why would they make it out of heavier tube? That is not what the structure was designed for. (Hanging lights, etc.) Get some 1" clamps and be done. For the table size, you should have looked at the specs prior to buying. It's not a "flaw", it's your lack of research.
That's a really harsh comment, but i'll respond. Yes, it doesn't say anywhere what the tube sizes are, and that's something that caught me off guard so I wanted to mention in this video. I purchased new clamps, but this is the first thing in 15 years of business I've ever needed that was 1.2" thick. Speaker and light stands are 1.5", and Global Truss is 2". That's all I said. It's a very awkward size and that's inconvenient. Also, the table size isn't a problem, but I definitely consider a "DJ Table" that can't fit 2 turntables and a mixer in road cases a design flaw. Thanks for watching regardless.
@@DJJoshErieOfficial Josh Bennett how is it a harsh comment when it's the truth? The length, width, and height are all advertised. You should have measured your cases before ordering the table. So Trixx is right, it is not a flaw! I uses my road case with the sliding laptop shelf for my SX2. I slide the front of the case forward a little and it works perfect!! 90% of your complaints are in fact, lack of research. But I do understand your issue about you the table not joining together properly. That is a flaw. So next time read specs, measure, confirm things will fit before you purchase. Keep on mixing!
Hey Josh, thanks for the share. My modification to this table was to raise the height of the IBeam by 30 inches. I used the poles from another IBeam to make this mod. It's a much better look in venues with taller ceiling heights. Check out these vids of my modified PE Table and IBeam: th-cam.com/video/rEbrTjPSiYE/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/9MmK3YImmp0/w-d-xo.html
Don't understand you buying the event tabel 2, knowing it's dimensions, then complaining about the tube width, and the table width etc.. You knew exactly what equipment you were intending to put on it, but obviously did't take the time to consider if it would actually fit, then made these things out to be a problem, which is hardly fair is it!
Thats why they give you the measurements. Very good table, had it since day one. I got the first event table.
They also make a scrim for the table.
I returned mine, it was worse fitting than yours. I now have a Rockville Rocktable XL and I LOVE IT!
Yes I agree, Needs more length. maybe a extension/ Plug. 6 foot length would be nice.
Nice job. However some of us back light our signs, so if you still used your black facade to cover wires, maybe cut the facade to expose the sign’s shape. Remake your sign that has your name with opaque or thin white plastic. Put one light underneath table and you’ll create a lit DJ sign.
Great idea with covering the lower section, I got some magnets so my sign was quick in and quick off 😎🎧👍🏻
Hmmmm I never thought about magnets! I might have to explore that route too! Thanks for watching and commenting!
how did you do magnets? can you explain what you did?
John Ley I’ll give a close up on my next gig log of how I did it with magnets and a couple of other mods! 😎🎧👍🏻
Josh Bennett I’ll send you a link over to show how I did it 😎🎧👍🏻
Hey josh. When u scratch, does this stand shake or does it feel solid?
Great video... I have that table and did not have any problems. I love it. only issue with that foam stuff that you used to block off the facade is its very flammable
your setup it´s wonderful, and also your modifications; congratulations!!
Thank you very much!
@@DJJoshErieOfficial , you´re welcome
I used it with 2 Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexus and a Traktor Z2 mixer. It is tight but I have no issues

Great look Josh! What were the dimensions you cut the work board? Thanks
brilliant idea with the cover
What did you end up using for clamps
Great video. Man I remember the days when you were rocking the b-52 matrix system time sure does fly :)
Classic
I’m on my way to Home Depot! I was thinking about using a fabric but that board is a great alternative!
I love it!
Great Review! I like the front logo

I have 2 Numark NTX1000 and Mixars Duo 2 Mixer all in cases and the fit perfectly. I don't have to take them out of the cases.

Get new clamp inserts.

What side is the tv
How did you do the sides on the table?
my table slides together correctly, also they make a jr clamp just for this. Brian S Redd has the name of them on a video he did.
sorry typed to soon, i saw the velcro, great idea
The ADJ event table is overpriced. For a 500.00, it has too many FLAWS . 🛠
HEY BUD CAN YOU MAKE ME ONE I WILL PAY YOU
What are the size cuts of those plastic boards you used?
