- Friends, it feels like it’s been FAR too long since I’ve done a shape series set! (Looks like it’s been over 4 months since my last new one?!) So I bring you the watermelon shape series 🍉 I used this simple triangle shape - you can find this from a few sources but mine is the 3.5” from @night.owl.icing. If you haven’t checked out her cutters yet I couldn’t recommend more highly! Anyhoo, back to the set… I used this one shape, a somewhat limited color palette (6 colors) and just let my imagination run wild. My favorite part about this type of set is that I give myself permission to fail. As an artist and a content creator, I find this is SO important. Often I get too fixated on always putting my best foot forward… it’s just so dang freeing to create and tell myself if it looks terrible that’s ok!

Projector: I own both of these projectors. I first owned the Pico and purchased the Bluetooth as an upgrade. If budget is a concern, the Pico gets the job done (just make sure that you're plugging it in correctly!). Otherwise, I recommend the Bluetooth - it has a better/brighter image and connects via Bluetooth.

I really have enjoyed watching these 2 that I have watched. Watermelon & Christmas tree. I'm excited to find others you have done. 1.5 to 2 hrs are fine with me. I'm disabled trying to find something I can do.
I haven't heard how quickly the royal iceing must be used or how long the iceing can last in the tubes you make?

I love all the decorating; hearing your thoughts about duds. They are very important to see & hear your processes around them. Leave in more 'duds' or artistic 'I don't knows'. I have learned so much on your 'duds' or 'I think it's a dud.' The thought process is as teaching as the 'perfect ones'. Twice.

I love this set so much. I always get a lot of enjoyment out of seeing different designs with the same color palette and shape and I think of all the shape series', this is my favorite set so far and I'm a huge fan of the abstract designs.

For how long can stay freshh and still safe to eat decorated cookies with raw eggwhite royal icing? On room temperature or freezer? What are your recommendations?
Have you ever thought about making your own extract or vanilla paste? Vanilla paste is extremely easy to make with a good blender and good vanilla beans in you know the right place to get them, and taste so much better and so much cheaper.
