That’s where the Ranger comes in - whether you need something for narrower trails, better mileage, or just plain don’t need a huge truck. Tire Man Dan’s Ranger build on 35s hits that perfect balance of off-roadabilty, but still being a great daily. With some JDM-inspired flair, of course.

Here in the Philippines they sell a Ford Ranger Raptor that comes stock with bodykit very similar to the one on that Ranger but its chassis, suspension, engine and drivetrain is completely different from the standard Rangers sold here. It also comes Fox suspension and Terrain control that has a Baja mode for bombing terrain similar to King of the Hammers, Baja and Mint races.
And it's only 40,000 dollars in the Philippines. I love my Ranger Raptor. Greatest deal for a Ranger Raptor on EARTH!

Really cool build! I wish the gladiator also came with a turbo engine option. Turbo motors are just so interesting.
I wish there was sound with the driving clips. I had so much fun in my lifted ‘94 ranger 20 years ago. It would be cooler if ford put turbos on motors that weren’t small compared to the motor displacement of 90’s vehicles. A boosted 4.0 or larger v6 would drop jaws!!!

Whats funny is roost was a term used way back in the 70's, actually short for rooster. That's a term we used when we were on our dirt bikes slinging dirt from out back tire.

The twin turbo I4 diesel from Europe would be more interesting to me, I've seen what a 3.5 EB does and it's capabilities hence the ford GT.
Really would want to see the torque #s after upgrades and tune, it'll make tons more torque than a EB6, seems more less common which catches my eye.
I know this car (Ranger I mean), it is good car. We have one for our offroading and movies, and it's really doing good job!
Sick build! But talking about value vs the raptor I wonder what he's into it with widebody kit, paint, tuning, interior, wheels/tires, suspension. That's gotta be over $70k? Also the one piece fenders might be a problem in the future. On my Raptor the fender flares have some pretty deep gouges from trails. If you ONLY do desert running it won't be an issue but it you do tighter trails you might end up wanting something you can swap out due to damage. Thumbs up though, it'd be nice to have the Ranger Raptor over here in the US, this is the next best thing!

Did the Westin bumper side Pods need extending to reach the wider carbon front fenders?
The stock Westin seems to reach a stock Ranger fender, so I assume some extending is needed to reach APG 50mm extra width

I'm loving how haters back home stateside are bashing the Ranger Raptor. Saying that it's puny 4 cylinder twin turbo diesel is weak. My tuned Ranger Raptor only has 220hp, 10hp above stock. But it's my torque figures at 584 ft lbs that's more important off road and at stop light racing. Don't hate cause you can't get one yet.

Well, they have worked fine for a year now, but I have other sets that I run as well, Fifteen52.
Fiesta 1.6L, Focus 2.0L, Focus RS, 2.3L engine with forged internals. RS engines are 2.3 but different in all kinds of ways.

How much did you pay for the Baja kit? Like what does APG charge? Thanks if you get back!
There is a page to configure from APG, “base” is 12k, then you add suspension and other stuff and you are around 21k-28k going from stock to baja. They offer a 15% discount from time to time. If you have the money ready, you might want to contact them and see a true quotation
