And it's just such a simplistic view of people that I cannot fathom. There's so many different kinds of love. Parental love, brotherly/sisterly love, romantic love, just to give three examples. You want your head canon, go ahead but that doesn't make it actually canon

One confusing thing I’ve learned about orientation and identity is, one can be a lesbian/etc and still have specific exceptions for specific people. Just like how people who are pan are attracted to people for who they are individually rather than by stereotypically gendered traits, it can rarely happen that someone otherwise completely gay (and vice versa) can like someone who doesn’t fit into their orientation, not because they’re a woman/man/whatever but because they’re specifically themself
