Another terrific session in the shop. The leg design on this table is very nice. Well done!!

Thanks Jerry! Yes I’m pleased with how it is turning out and hope to share the finished version next SNL...if I can get my other “chores” done in time 😎

When you talked about your children coming into your shop when they were little and all they wanted to do was build weapons, reminded me of my grandbabies. When they were little they'd come into mine and all they wanted to do was to build swords and daggers and when they got older it was bows and arrows. Thank you for bringing back those wonderful memories. I enjoy watching your videos they are so entertaining.

Thanks Ray! It’s so good to hear I’m not alone in that experience. The funny thing is, I think I enjoyed making those weapons as much as they did 😎, especially a detailed copy of a “Tommy Gun” I made with my oldest son...with interchangeable straight or round clips! But the sword were probably the biggest hit with my boys, and I’m guessing their favorite memory since a couple years ago both my sons got a small tattoo of a sword (just like the ones we made) on their forearms 😎🗡

Hi Tom, your candle table is a clever design of the colonial candle table. Your table, I feel is one of a kind. I will build it some day but, I need to build the early American colonial candle table first, this table to me is one of the great beautiful early American pieces of furniture. Plus I need to prove to myself my woodworking skills.
Thank you for a fantastic session, see you next week on SNL.

Thanks Steve! Yes, I agree the period Shaker version is quite the gem and an excellent place to start. I always learn so much when reproducing the great masterworks of the past👍

@@EpicWoodworking My mistake in referring the candle table as colonial style. Yes, I feel the same for the Shaker style, thank you for nicely correcting me by agreeing "period Shaker version."

Yes, thanks Frank, those plans are coming out next! If you’re on our mailing list at epicwoodworking.com you will be among the first to know. And I will be offering a companion video series along with it where I will show in detail making this table and also cover making the sunburst top. Thanks for coming along for the ride! 👍😎

I like this design and how you made it work. Might be within my grasp with some patience and practice.

Great George, (that’s my middle name by the way...not enough of us out there :). I’m planning to create some full size drawings of the table and have them available on our website in the near future...once I finalize the design, in case you’re interested. epicwoodworking.com. Thanks! 👍
