I have been drawn to vintage Christmas decor for awhile now because it's nostalgic for me. So this year I decided to decorate my tree with symbols that represent what Christmas time means to me. I bought old world blown glass ornaments ..Santa and Mrs claus..cookies and milk for Santa..letters to Santa..ice skates ..old fashion bob sled.. nativity..snowman...ect then I bought plastic vintage holly garland and flocked candles in a plastic holly ring..I bought the old fashion red felt stockings with cream top and small bells on them and matching tree skirt. To me that's what Christmas was for me growing up.
I actually liked your deer with the painted eyes before you said you painted them on, I was l looking at him thinking what cute eyes he has. 😊 beautiful collection of new and old!!!
Thank you!! I figured no one would ever buy him with no eyes…so I did!! I brought him home and gave him eyes. I like to save little misfits like that. 😆

What a fun tour. I'm so envious because you have many years of collecting ahead of you. Lots of empty spaces left to fill in! I'm at the point where I have no more room and it kinda makes me sad. There comes a point when you collect for years where you have go either say "Stop", or get rid of something to replace it with something new (which I can't do).
