Why thank you! That is very much appreciated! I am always blown away by how popular this game still is with people years and years later. Show truly how good of a game it is!
Well executed. You should also mention that your class also dictates how effective your alignments Force powers will be during combat. For example a consular and/or Sith Lord would benefit from using a single bladed lightsaber and relying on dealing damage with Force Powers rather than weapons. Since most of the dark side powers are damage based. Same for guardian Jedi weapon Master where you're not bogged down with casting more so just a few buffs to augment dual weapon proficiencies and like you said heal with little to no cost at all.
One thing to note that wasn't mentioned in the video is that if you are in the Dark Side tomb/cave in Korriban (Aka the one where you face your past, like recruitment to the Mandalorian Wars, facing Kreia, Revan and your Dark Jedi self. Yes that one.) is that if your light side Force Points do not regenerate. So be very careful how you spend them in there. Now if you are Dark Side I think they do regenerate I could be wrong on that and if you are neutral then I have no idea. But that brings me to my question, is there a way to regenerate points in there, whether through a Force Form, some sort of glitch that may happen when leveling up, or something else entirely.
Consular and weapon Master with dual wielding is also a good choice for lightside. Since I feel like later in the game most classes are starved for feats, and in the beginning of the game your Force Powers are less effective, so those Force focus feats are essential. The only powers that matter for light side are heal stasis field and valor. Because most lightside powers are buff abilities as a pure light side playthrough it would be wise to choose dual weapon fighting and most likely weapon master. versus Sith Lord you can just sit there and spam storm and jack your charisma up to ridiculous levels. You're very rarely be using your lightsaber at all ironic isn't it

"I have my charisma at 19 +4 so 23" Big nope, Kotor follows d20 rules, +4 is the modifier of your womping 19 charisma. Take it to 20 it'll be +5, etc...
I see! Thank you for pointing that out. The math added up when I was testing it but I was probably doing something wrong. I also was never a D&D player so I am not as familiar with the mechanics as I should be.
Well, this video helped me figure out what happened to my playthrough. Because of the fact that I'm just playing the Xbox version no restored content mod I exploit ALOT of glitches, and I'm guessing this is what caused my problem, witch I figured out thanks to this video I figured out that my game must think I'm constantly in combat but it ONLY affects my force point regeneration.
Lol glad to hear the videos are helpful! Also glad I could assist in encouraging another playthrough. This game is a classic. My favorite is coming back to it after a long break from it. The nostalgia is well worth it!
The modifiers don't add to your attribute totals, the modifiers are bonuses to rolls concerning checks for modifiers for those attributes. If you have 18 strength (+4 modifier) you get +4 more damage when unarmed or (1.5×4 more) when equipping most melee weapons, and +4 to attack rolls if you have the finesse feat. So having 18 strength with a +4 modifier doesn't mean you have 22 strength.
Thanks for clearing that up. I am not totally familiar with the D&D system. Thought the math worked out but I definitely had that wrong. Appreciate you letting me know so I can not make that mistake in the future.
How do you feel about the Force ? I recently realized my Meetra and Revan are what Sion and Nihilus could have been if they had been more loyal to Kreia (or her teachings at least). But at the same time they fought and manipulated in the name of change, only Revan remained neutral, relying mostly on his physical capacities. My Meetra on the other hand grows stronger in the Force, particularly the Darkside. This might sound weird, but I feel kinda guilty about my leveling up. When playing, I take the story more into account than getting stronger in levels.
Pretty sure the +4 is your charisma modifier. So when you need to apply charisma to a roll it would add plus 4. It doesn't make your charisma 23. If you increased char to 20 it would say plus 5

level 20 to con so you reach base 18 for the implant
the rest goes to wisdom
this build is the best build you can get hands down in this game and here are the reasons:
you stun ANYONE (except kreia), you 1 shot anyone with the right lightsabers enhancments (exile crystal/kaiburr +keen, ponitie lens, expert fencing emitters, ultimate diatum energy cell)
master valor, master speed, master flurry + juyo.
from level 13 to when you learn juyo use force channel.
