My friend has a white brass ceiling fan in his living room and in his parent's room, both have pretzel shaped brackets, and I thought they were a type of Westinghouse Vintage style fan, but none of the ones I saw on google had a black motor like his and had the same look. It just so happens that the pullchains on the fans both said Encon on them, but as for the type of encon they are idk.
There is one of those in my school with cane blades and no light kit. There is also some I think what could be Encon hugger fans and some Dayton industrials
It won't fall down (trust me), it could only fall down of it was installed incorrectly (like if the mounting bracket (where you could hang the fan) is really loose), then yes it can happen. Type down "How to install a ceiling fan" and check them out (in the correct order though if it's in separate parts), then you'll know that they will never fall down.
When we first moved here back in 2002, there were 5 of these fans that were installed about more than a decade before we moved here (that are manufactured in the late 80's), along with that different ornate fan in the living room.
@@Chris_Muffin91When we moved here, the one in that bedroom (where it got replaced with Hampton Bay Landmark) had a bad capacitor (where high & medium spin like low, & low speed itself was stalled out).
@@Chris_Muffin91And that other fan (that used to be in my parents room), it used to spin fast until mid 2010 where the high & medium speeds slowed down, that's where my dad and I bought a Seagull Lighting Main Street to replace that Encon fan.
I love how excited you are about these fans! Lol I'm terrified that mines gonna fall from my ceiling and kill me
Why?
Nice fans I really like the design on them
Nostalgia is hitting me hard! I can’t even!
Very nice fans!
They look cool😀
@polly12354 It was one of the blades (or 2) of one in my room vibrating that's making it a little noisy. It sounds kinda cool anyways.

2:25 lights loosen fan
2:44 quiet fan
I love it
What camera did you use?
UPDATE: The fan downstairs in the living room has been replaced with my Hunter fan, as of March 2015.
all from 1988?
J.J. Bayliss The Encon Monarchs? Yes.
Btw this is one of the first videos I watched by you.
Okay, I actually made a mistake, the house was actually built somewhere in 1989 not 2001, so in that case these fans are a lot more than 10 year-old.
Which one?
@jonahmusto Yep, that's right. :D And did you click the "Like" button too? That would be really appreciated. :D
Where you get the encon monarch?
I just added some information in the description.

@romex521 I'd say they are 10 years.

those fans look nice
Cool fans Warren
@blastoff10000 Oh, it is? Okay.
@5876mg You're welcome.
It's an encon monarch supreme because of the cane and the light kit.
I want one of these badly!
All those fans are the same!
But the one on the left room is a lot noisy then the one in the right room
The Ceiling fan in the living room is a lot quiet!
Fr
I saw a fan in the living room
that one in the video and all ceiling fans are sexy because they don't have something to cover the blades around.
OH My GOODNESS WHY😭😭😭😭😭
What the heck
Actually nevermind, because the 4-arm light-kits are (actually) made in June of 1988.
I think I started watch fan videos in 2012 i think:lol
Koby B That's neat.
But I can't have a big set of fans for my self
1983 Encon Monarch Ceiling Fan
Why Are All Encon Monarchs At Your House
Huh 🤨

We have one like that in our family room
Your bedroom is noisy because it's on a solid state speed controll
