    Thank you so much for this teach. I've become especially fond of the teaches and play throughs on this channel. It feels like the kind of teach I would receive if I was sitting at the table getting ready to play.

    This is great! I just got the game today and directly went to TH-cam to check if there are any playthroughs. So glad I found this video!

    57:36 In market action, you don't "have to" put a white trader if they are availale

    At 2:03:00, it looks like Edward double counted the 5 buyers. He counted them 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and then doubled it before adding the points from 3 markets and the value of the goods. Am I understanding the scoring correctly?

      8 months later, but after receiving the game watching this on a 2nd screen... and yeah, I'm also confused by it and that nobody catched it on stream. Still, I'm pretty sure he did the mistake a described by you...
      EDIT: Actually, down below is a another comment and @Heavy Cardboard confirmed it was played incorrectly (doubled twice by mistake).

    Is it me or thematically smuggled goods should be stored only in hidden and regular goods in both

      As I explained in the live chat, across the galaxy the cargo ships are taxed based on cargo hold, so people tend to ... underreport it. But when they're "full on paper" they are not allowed to excavate through official means, however when you buy on the black market, nobody cares where you put it :)

      @@funnyonlineuploads Oooh great to hear, didn't know it was already in the wild. I hope to do many more stuff with Vital in the future. But for now, the best thanks you can give is giving Excav Earth a chance, and backing it :)

    Another excellent video. Two queries (if David is scanning comments).
    Firstly, all three players sold to three markets during turn three but no one drew 2 kept 1, or if they did I wasn't paying attention,
    Secondly, when you do a survey action during turns one and two you have to place a cube on the card. Does this also apply to turn 3? So should Edward and Derek have had one of their cubes locked onto the card they used to survey?

    • @davidturczi5713
      @davidturczi5713 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I seem to remember they drew 2 kept 1. If they didn't they should have.
      No, round 3 surveying has nothing to do with cubes. ... except if you use the Observation Barge from the Second Wave box... more will be revealed about that during the KS I expect :)

    It's unfortunate that this game is launching during this time as well as following such high profile games. I'm interested but can't justify the expense given the two factors.
    I hope this is successful and I also hope they add some variants that lean into the theme more. For example pricing varying on demand and not fixed on popularity.

    • @nicholasburrage1853
      @nicholasburrage1853 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't understand your example. How is the market fixed? You can already manipulate the market (by increasing/changing the popularity), which consequently varies the pricing.

    • @Shoitaan
      @Shoitaan 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@nicholasburrage1853 I mean the price of the goods is fixed based on popularity. Most popular always scores an extra 9. Whereas ideally the number of meeple missing would directly set the price for each individual track.
      For what its worth, I broke like a sucker and backed it.

      Shoitaan ah, gotcha! didn’t quite catch what you were saying before. I’m also backing it.

    I am pretty sure that Edward's first big three item sale, he took too much money. Should have been $27 not $37. Asterisk.

    • @kevinlaberge8571
      @kevinlaberge8571 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I thought the same. He doubled his revenue from the number of sales.
