Kids in the Hall is truly a underrated comedy show. All shows can't be as big as Seinfeld, Friends or Maried with Children but this show deserves to be alot bigger than it is !
Not underrated.. Just Canadian and if you didn't watch comedy Central back in the '90s then you wouldn't have known anything about them. But plenty of people do... Oh yes a lot of people crush heads and don't even know where that came from..
Kevin is completely right. My generation watched Kids every day on Comedy Central for years. It shaped a lot of my humor today. And I’m 35. This video is 10 years old but it still applies.
I especially enjoyed Jian's petty interlude about how KITH treated him compared to Strombolopolous earlier. Kevin mumbled a joke about choking and that was the end of that. Of course nobody realized at the time they're being interviewed by a sociopath (which is why I enjoyed it).
It's well understood in the entertainment community that he is a sociopath. He has violent non-consensual sexual outbursts according to 10 or more public accounts. In private circles those accounts number far greater. A thought experiment: If you have a daughter and would be OK with him dating her then perhaps your trust in the system, and belief in the plausibility of there being multiple co-conspirators vs a single bad actor, irrationally precludes your common sense. Otherwise, you understand what I'm saying just fine and just want to nitpick for some other purpose.
i dated a girl who was part of the cbc intern program a few years before he got busted ...even then it was a well established but unofficial rule that the female interns were not to be left alone with him at any time
