Hey Desy, thank you again for another awesome review. I personally love the top shelf divider you showed us at 4:44. That has been my biggest gripe using the ProTactic and the Axis V1 is that even if you used a divider to create a flat area up top, it was still very prone to letting smaller things slip through into the main compartment. I was wondering, could you actually fit this top Nanuk shelf divider into the top of the Axis 24L V2? Even if it isn't a perfect 1:1 match, as long as it provides a stable and secure base- it could be worth contacting Nanuk about buying that divider by itself lol.
@@DesmondCheng Haha dang. Thank you anyway for checking. Maybe I'll find someone who can custom make dividers for the tops of these and start selling them haha.
First of all, a huge THANK YOU mate! You make the best backpack videos on TH-cam imo. I found out about Nanuk from your channel and I love their products. I am currently trying to figure out if I should get the Shimoda Action X v2 30L or 40L, or get the NPVD 35L from Nanuk. I know you have some Shimoda bags, and I was wondering if you could make a direct comparison video between them and Nanuk? Thank you.
thanks man! I dont have the shimoda action x v2 bags nor have i used them so i cant say for sure.... But I will say both brands are great! I think between the two, i might lean towards the shimoda because that has a quick access! The NPVD 35L does not have a side quick access
@@ivotodorov7069 i would take the nanuk 30L. its still my goto work bag at the moment. Its quite solid. Shimoda might be a bit comfortable, but i feel like i can fit much more gear in the nanuk
I keep ending up on your channel! Trying to find a new medium sized workhorse bag (I have a Shimoda X70 for big jobs and a Tenba Fulton 16 when I need a small footprint). I think this one might be it, but its 0.4 inches larger than the carry on size. Have you had any issues using it as a carry on? Thanks!
Hey Legend! Quick question about the 70-200 standing upright in the 35L, is that the GM2? I'm trying to find out if the Nanuk 35L has enough depth to store a gripped A1 and A9III, which are about 17cm tall with an arca plate on the base.
I don't agree with you on the laptop compartment. You are forgetting security. Your laptop probably has a lot of important files and is very expensive. I much rather have it close to my back and out of reach of any pick pockets. Way more important than the fact that it takes just a second longer at the airport.

no prob! unfortunately it wont work. the nanuk is aobut 10.5 x 7.5". The tenba axis 24L v2 is smaller than that

@@DesmondChengYeah, I had the same thought. What would you take between the Nanuk 30L and the Shimoda 30L bags?
I also feel like the Nanuk isn’t that much smaller size-wise than the fstop Tilopa, which is 50L and has a lot more space.

good point!
How are they compared to Tenba bags?
its tough because tenba has more features, but this bag is better built
@@DesmondCheng thank you 🙏🏽
@@J-Dawg-1 currently im choosing the Nanuk over the Tenba for my work stuff =)
@@DesmondCheng thank you brother.
My laptop (16 inch macbook) has a case, it is very difficult to fit it in, do you think the 35 will fit my laptop better?
the 35L would be better, but that backpack is HUGE!
How is it traveling with these bags?
i havent travelled with the 35L yet. the 30L is fine! I'm going to be taking it on another flight next week
