- Two home games, one point, no goals for - Has our incredible home form has disappeared?
Portsmouth hosted Millwall and Burnley in the last 7 days and all did not go to plan. A very stubborn and well drilled Millwall took all 3 points back to London, followed by a spirited performance against high-flying Burnley.
We're still above the relegation zone, but only just.
Reinforcements have come in during the window in time for the tough trip to Sheffield United. Will it be enough?

Hello my boys, I saw all my pals at Fratton Park last week and mentioned your podcast. Bless Nigel the old codger he didn't realise you could order pizza on the World Wide Web these days, he went home and ordered 3 that night just to make sure he had dinner for the next few days.
Anyway they will soon to be tuning in...I just said to type in the might blue army into the Google and they'll find you. I Haven't watched your show yet, we said we'd get it all up in our respective houses, call each other and agree to press play at the same time. Almost as if it's us talking but we get to be quiet and have a cup of tea.
@joeharry6820 Bless Nigel. If you all watch on x1.5 speed it makes us more entertaining (if that's even possible). I hope you enjoy it 😊 😉
I'm very hopeful of the future of this season, especially with pack being taken off, but I can't help but think that Colby bishop is responsible for the two poor results. He had three easy shots against Millwall and a couple against Burnley. I would like to see him drop further back or see something radical like having a winger take his position
@@PoorlyWrttenReviews which winger would you put in as CF?
@pompeypod id be interested to see that new Liverpool signing play up front, I've seen some pretty good reviews from him and he's played and trained with some incredible goal scorers, and it's not like wingers taking to striker is uncommon, Ronaldo was a midfielder when he started
@PoorlyWrttenReviews fair enough. I don't agree tbh but we all have an opinion. I'd rather have a CF in at CF than a winger who 'may' be able to do it. Personally I'd stick with CB to bully CBs for 60-70 mins, then give a quicker CF 20-30 mins to get in behind.
Ronaldo is quite an exception btw. There's not too many who have made that transition 🙂
@pompeypod I think currently we have a striker that can't strike though
@PoorlyWrttenReviews I agree. He also had a period like this last season and everyone got on his back and wanted Yengi in, but he found form and ended with 20 goals.
I don't think he's a 20 goal a season champ player, but I do think he's currently our best option as CF.
It'll be interesting how Gordon and the French lad from Sunderland fit in with our 'style'. Hopefully we'll get to see at least one, if not both, this weekend.
