- The 2022 Toyota 4Runner has great LED projector headlights, but retains ugly yellow halogen DRL bulbs. We show you how to change them to give a better look to your 4Runner.

I actually like the "yellow" bulbs better. Some manufacturers put these white led bulbs next to the headlight so when the headlight is on, the other turn signal/marker light gets lost in the beam of the headlight. Yellow bulbs stand out better.
Didn't work on my 2024 4Runner without adapting the series halogen wiring to parallel for the LEDs.
Have you experienced any flickering or strobing?
The DRL’s are wired from the factory to operate at 6volts .A aftermarket harness was needed so the LED replacements can operate at full 12 volt,avoiding the flickering or strobing.

Nobody ever videos the driver side. Is the driver side harder to access without battery removal?

First of all great video. Do you happen to have an updated amazon affiliate link by chance? My old 20000lm 9005s wont turn on im assuming its an issue with the voltage

Ordered the same bulbs off the link and only one works. Swapped and still the same but both new bulbs work in the 1 that works. Put the olds back in and both work!? Went to Reddit and I guess it’s something about wired in “series” and you have to use an extension and modify the wiring? Assuming you did that to get these to work and did not put that in the video???

It was the same issue in having when i installed mine over the weekend.
Do the DRL LED replacement bulbs effect the factory "high beams?"
Great question. On our 2022, the high and low beams are all within the factory LED projector, so these bulbs do not affect the headlights at all. I believe on prior years this might be an issue. Thanks for watching! -Brandon

Hi there! I purchased the exact same bulb for my toyota 4runner 2022 trd off road premium. It didnt work at all.
Same mine just have the highbeams as the LED now
Since the video was posted have you experienced any issues with the bulbs? Also, can you share the info on the bulb? I have a ‘22 runner that I’d like to swap out the DRL bulbs.

so... do you not have high beams anymore? I can pretty much guarantee they're not throwing the same amount of candella down range as your halogens or other LED bulbs would. So, just curious if you just don't use your high beams?
I have Auxbeam on all lights up front. They are super white and I can see a mile down range with my brights.
Are these bulbs still working for you? Are u still using them?

Thanks for watching the video! We actually sold our 4runner a few months back, but they were working great when we sold it. No issues for 8+ months!

May I ask if you paid MSRP or did you get a discount on the SR5? All the dealerships near me are selling at MSRP + dealer fees.
We paid MSRP, we bought it in 2021 when new cars were always over ask - so we felt like it was a fair deal then. For todays market, I would hope you could get a discount, or at least waive the dealer add-ons! That being said, I know 4Runners really hold value, so you’re likely not losing even at MSRP.
