I am sitting here writing this caption with tears pouring down my face because I never thought I would ever be able to introduce you all to Blue Blast (BB). Before last week, there was a very real possibility that she would end up going back to her abuser. Thankfully, this beautiful horse got her fairytale ending and she will remain in sanctuary forever. I could not have gotten through the last 5 months without Leanne from @goatsofanarchy and @hispees. We pushed through together. We confided in each other. We told each other that the animals would remain with us - and they did. Safe. Forever. Thank you all for being patient with me when it comes to this case. Thank you for respecting the boundaries that were set to keep her in protective custody. Any idea just how many "rescues" are on you tube and other social media begging for donations. It's gotten to the point that I don't know who anyone can trust anymore. 😢😢😢

Why are the most neglected horses the most gentle of them all. They don't have a mean streak in their body. How can anyone neglect animals. If you can't take care of them for whatever reason, call for help for them. PLEASE. This breaks my heart what she had to endure. 💔❤️🩹 So glad she was saved.
The 1st clip of Blue Blast in this video broke my heart to see her beautiful blue eyes, the window to her Soul, pleading for help... Bless you all for rescuing her from her torment of losing her buddies, neglect and abuse... Now, being under forever safety, nuturing and unconditional love she can begin to heal her beautiful Mind, Body and Soul... We love you, Blue Blast... "Never Give Up" 🦋💞🦋

How is it still possible, in this day and age, that abused animals can be returned to their abusers? It says a LOT about the sickness in our society! I'm so, so happy you were able to rescue and keep this sweet horse. Thank you for saving her!
That would never happen here in Finland. Abused animals are taken away from the owner and they are ordered not to own animals (but there is a possibility to give 5 years or so) unfortunately it is not forbidden forever.

I dont get it?! same with the other video, how are these horses not immediately taken away? how do people who leave them in these conditions have a chance at getting them back? I understand that everyone's circumstances are different, maybe it wasn't intentional, but the owners have shown that they are not capable of keeping this animal. and if they let you take her, then good for them. but it shouldn't even be possible to get her back, she deserves so much better
