I took this trip before the current round of restrictions went into place. Only travel when it’s permissible by your jurisdiction and you feel safe doing so. Please know the aviation industry is taking great care to keep you safe.
Idaho continues to be one of the fastest per capita new case producers - a really stupid place to come. we have never "flattened the curve" here and our infectious rate is horrifying. Your traveling is irresponsible. Not sure why you think YOU are special. Thumbs down and unsubbing until you start showing better sense.
@@nampanana Wow, it's FINE! You need to chill. Jeb is just doing his job. But I'm assuming that5 your job is...none! Just chill and watch your liberal media!
Try fling into KGEG, it's a fun little airport and you can do a series of small airports around America. Because you always go to the huge airports. But many start and end there trips at small airports. Maybe consider it? -Jack from Idaho!
Fun fact Boise is where United Airlines started as Varney Airlines in 1926 although we don’t get much mainline service anymore. I took this flight many times via 727 when I was younger, the early 1990s breakfast tray even in economy was quite good with fresh fruit, yogurt, orange juice, and a hot entree I remember it well. The jetway walls used to be lined with brightly colored carpet with United orange, red, and blue lines.
Boise is home to the 124th Fighter Wing of the Air National Guard as well as the 183rd Air Assault Batallion of the Army National Guard which fleet consists of UH-60 Blackhawks, UH-72 Lakotas, and C-12 Hurons.
United's Airbus A319s and Airbus A320s have been recently been stored at Rockford International (Near Chicago). I go by each day and there is usually 1 gone back to service or a new one in. It's nice to see these little guys still flying.
Cool thing is, I was actually born in Boise, and graduated there as well and in fact, Jeb saw where I graduated at Gowen field. I graduated from IDYCA, I recommend looking it up. But I in fact don’t live in Boise, but a town 300 miles north, in a place called Moscow Idaho. You might have heard of the University of Idaho. Pretty cool that Jeb came to Idaho
The library and arcade are unique amenities. The departure board, there’s a disused concourse at BWI where they have US Airways Express gates that have those kinds of signs. I’ve only seen it used when they escort Boutique Air passengers to their plane.
I know. Ever since Bumpgate, United has been the victim of double standards and just like Boeing, they have gotten blame for every little thing ever since.
Please don't complain you're a privileged, since March that I'm stuck at home and working from home. I can´t travel like you. Even leaving my city to the nearest city is a party. From traveler and aviation lover to confined. Cheers and enjoy your flights. Your videos are very good and it's wonderful to see them.
My last flight on United was a bit of a mixed bag. It was a 737-800 from Anchorage to Chicago O'Hare, and I was sat way in the back in like row 32 (obviously didn't help my experience!). The seat was alright, but it was quite cramped, especially for a 6ft + guy like me! The flight to Anchorage had no onboard entertainment, but the flight back to ORD did. When I did get IFE, though, the screen was old and a little slow to respond, and the movies were shown on.... uhh... Channels? You basically had to pick a movie and couldn't rewind or pause it, a bit like a movie theater except 30,000 feet in the sky. The headphone jack was also broken, and I had to hold pressure on it in just the right way to get any sound at all. My favorite part of the whole trip was looking out of the windows at the mountains the Western US and Canada.
Jeb...I traveled this past week for the first time since the outbreak. It was different for sure. While we were out of the country our state regulations changed. People may want to take that into consideration, the regulations are constantly changing and one never knows what they will be returning to. Also, I was secretly hoping to run into you in Atlanta during my layover. Thanks for all your posts!
I traveled almost every week when the middle seat block policy was effective. It was quite a satisfying experience. But now just wanna take a break till the pandemic slows down. Looks like ticket price hikes up compared to a few months ago.
20 yr old airbus planes look like they need refreshing or replacement soon! hope the new a320neo and a321neo are still comfy w more modern stuff like power better wifi
I grudgingly admire United for continuing to get away with this. As long as people are willing to pay full F/J fares for this crap, the airline has no incentive whatever to improve.
Thanks Jeb! No First Class Lounge On This Trip In Boise? Gin/Tonic Looked Good! Beautiful Clear Skies All the Way! Looking Forward To Your Other First Class Flights! Stay Safe! 💖💕
At 5:18 On the IFE that picture if an Airbus A319 looks an awful lot like a Boeing 787 Dreamliner! Haha!! 😂 😆 Maybe double check that jet image United! 🧐🧐
How do you know the aircraft was from China Air? Does the tail number remain the same regardless who operates the aircraft? Thanks for your insight. Always a good presentation.
I feel like we should clarify. Yes, the act of air travel is indeed safe with high quality filtration and mandatory mask wearing. The issue presents itself outside of the airplane, with no mandated face covering and self isolation we engager our families, friends, etc. We must be super cognizant of the pandemic and take all necessary steps to prevent further spread. -aviation lover & public health student
Jeb some of the best "Icemen" in the business are usually located at either ANC, SEA, JFK, YVR, YYZ, MSP, or ORD (In NA at least). If you have connections at any of the airports for your airport series. Id start there just make sure they have closed buckets unless you like getting drenched ;) Avoid mid Jan thru end of Feb tho, some of the closest wettest times.
JEB- Do you think that aviation will evolve and combine planes and helicoptors into hybrid flights for shorter and more population dense areas? I'm thinking the V-22 OSPREY and its offspring could eventually change the way aviation works.
In all my years of flying, I've never flown United and hope to one day. I've seen online that they've bought alot of used A319's and 737NG's, but don't understand why they don't just buy them new. I would understand that they might be trying to save money, but it would make more sense that way, buying new or getting the NEO or MAX.

I might have to travel to Boise next summer. This video gave me a good idea of what to expect at the airport. Thank you!
This is our favorite airline
I love United airlines 😎👍❤️

"Airbus A319"
*Shows Boeing 787*

An airline that doesn't know what airplanes they operate look like. But hey, at least United is the "friendly skies"
5:34 shows a 787-9 when the words above say A319 😂 lol.Awsome video as always
So good to see you back with wonderful vlogs
I love watching your videos because you are always so upbeat and positive. Stay safe!
I love how the flight map showed an image of a 787 instead of an A319
Nice. enjoyed the video a lot !
Thanks for another great video!
I will be flying from Chicago to Phoenix to visit family. Can’t wait to finally fly again.
Hey Jeb glad to see u r still managing to put out content love the A319 great vlog dude and hope u still manage to do stuff in these tough times
Great vlog as always! In Norway the have asked us not to travel. That has put back the timetable back to 1980 on most routes. Stay safe, and be safe!

Great shots of Boise. Keep going to smaller airports
Wow, my home airport OMA could learn a thing or two from BOI! Nice to see some flying again :)

That was nice here to Chicago. Here today in Chicago has been busy. Be safe here in my Windy City if Chicago.

Your review of United was polite and kind. My remarks have no reflection on you and your video.

You should fly Aer Lingus Business Class on the A330 or their new A321 LRs!
I don't think the services are the same everywhere. I was on a less than an hour flight last week on a UA Express CR2 and they served drinks on board

What date was this flight? I was based at BOI doing aerial survey work for three weeks a few days ago. I’m curious if this was while I was there.
How do you know the aircraft was from China Air? Does the tail number remain the same regardless who operates the aircraft? Thanks for your insight. Always a good presentation.

Hey Jeb, thanks for visiting my city of Boise! Before anyone gets after you in the comments, it's BOY-SEE, not BOY-Z.
