My last time to Phuket was in 2004. I have been traveling a lot between then and now and last April I returned to Phuket. I found it very difficult to escape from other tourists so I think we are sticking with our adventure travel. Love your vids, keep up the great work!!!

Another great vlog! I'd LOVE to see an updated video on your gear! I know you've shown and talked about the 1DX but I thought you used to A7Sii for a bit and then the GH4 prior to that, so I'm dead curious! For instance what you use for vlogging shots vs b-roll, if you had any recommendations on cameras be that Panasonic, Canon, Sony and what lenses like wide vs zoom, what aperture lens, whether you use ND filters and if you do which ones and stuff like that. Maybe it won't get a shit load of views but I bet there's some other cinematography nerds who'd love to know your thoughts on this stuff :)
P.S. My Lost tee just came in the mail and it's super nice quality and you can tell you put the effort into that like you would this channel! Keep up the awesome work man, I'm excited to see the Irish vlogs!

Hey Christian great video as per usual! Quick tip on preventing flickering when under powered lights :D Change your frame rate from 30fps to 24 fps OR if you still want 30fps then fix your cameras shutter speed to 1/50 or 1/100 if filming in PAL frequency countries (as apposed to NTSC)
Not sure what you mean buddy, it's a camera setting thing not a lens issue. It is kind of confusing so you might want to research PAL and NTSC and light flickering

You and Laura inspired me to go to the Philippines 🇵🇭 so I'm going to go to Cebu, Bohol and Apo island in December!!
Hi, Make sure to check out OSMENA PEAK in Dalaguete town in Cebu if you want an easy hiking adventure with some really amazing views. When in Bohol, head to Candijay town to see the CADAPDAPAN RICE TERRACES and the CAN-UMANTAD FALLS which is the tallest waterfall in all of Bohol. You can also do the LOBOC RIVER CRUISE or check out the spellbinding view of the magical "DANAO SEA OF CLOUDS". You can find the viewing point on top of the Laguna Hill in Barangay Concepcion, Danao, Bohol & the best viewing time is around sunrise from 5 AM - 8 AM. While in Danao, you can also go to Danao Adventure Park for some extreme adventures like "The Plunge", rappeling, zip lining & other high-adrenaline activities. You can also do some dolphin watching in Pamilacan Island in Bohol. Instead of going to Apo Island in Negros Oriental to see the cute sea turtles I would rather suggest seeing the Apo Reef Natural Park in Occidental Mindoro to see some spectacular & protected coral reef system & you'll surely encounter more marine creatures including sea turtles which you can also find there. Apo Reef in Occidental Mindoro is the world's second largest contiguous coral reef system next to the Great Barrier Reef. Unfortunately, Christian & Laura have not really been to these places when they went to Cebu & Bohol & they have yet to visit Mindoro but trust me when I say that these places are also really worth visiting apart from the more common tourist attractions of Cebu & Bohol! :-)
