It was honestly insulting that Simon just wanted him to sing something like “Sweet Transvestite”. Yes I loved his audition and that was such a fun song! But Simon completely failed to realize how talented of a performer Danny is. The dancers looking like a dress and coming undone, the song choice, the key change, it was everything!
I just bout cried at how sad and hurt he was. it's not even about the judges, Danny put his passion out for show and getting let down like that was a very powerful blow. I wish him the best. more than anything these contestants are human beings.

Fabulous performance! I thought the costumes and scenery were really random for the song choice, but I was super entertained and blown away by his voice once he warmed up. I do hope he grows a bit of thicker skin for both positive and negative comments. Showbiz is a grinding business. Best of luck to him and his endeavors!

I think it all comes down to song choice, had he gone for something more flamboyant he kind of have really displayed his showmanship. The second could've been much better if he had kept with the Rocky Horror rock-type act, which I think makes his voice sound even better. I think the random song choice didn't represent his voice well, and all I kept thinking was Shrek with the castles, the fire, the jesters, and especially the song choice.
