Its refreshing to see a young man who is patriotic, humble, and has respect for previous generations. A magic act is never about the tricks, its about the magician and how he keeps his audience spellbound. With enough practice anyone can learn a trick and that's why I've never liked magic acts - because its just fast hands, alot of flouncing around, and copying other magicians tricks using different props. This, however, told a story that aimed for the heart and that's why it won.
I do t wanna whine, but have you seen alex magala? The dude risked his life multiple times in each audition. Magic is cool but there are tens of thousands of magicians. When was the last time you saw a sword swallower do backflips?
Kristian Orozco Come on, you don't have to be a magicin to know how he pulled that off. You say "classic", I say silly and overdone. That same trick without the whole Brittish patriotism overdose and not even his mom would vote for him.
I am Vegan sure looks like it. There's some one that goes to my church that has a family whose all been in different branches of the armed forces such as the US Army and Air Force
Gotta love the TH-cam comment section to reassure you you aren't alone. I saw this earlier today and was blown away by how CHEAP that move of bringing a vet on stage was, and then he won and I wondered if I was crazy or something.
There might be plenty of people in the word that are more talented. But this performance has Heart. It raises big hope and emotions. Greatings from Germany. I am sorry you left us.
Does everyone not realise that this is something special? I absolutely thought this act was amazing! He brought someone in, aged 97, who fought for Britain (a large country) years and years ago! I loved it
This is deeply heartwarming. Fergus who was sent to war along side my Grandfather. My grandfather was a Marine he fought for the freedom of the UK. He suffered badly with a snake bite in his leg. He had it cut out with the Bayonet of the gun. Later on in life Grandad had a limp. He will always be my Grandad a man who loved us his Grandchildren. Also Grandma.Grandad my hero
I am from the United States but his performance makes me proud to be British, albeit 300 years removed. I think magic is all about presentation, some of which is an illusion but all of which is interesting to watch.
I think this is great and meaningful, almost comments just focus on the evolution of magic tricks, this man actually showed the origin and the spirit of it.
In his audition he copied Oz Pearlman (America's got talent) with the origami thing, in the semis he did something similar as Dynamo, watch his trick at the Jonathan Ross Show and now copy of 2 Mat Franco's performances on Agt... and he won the sjow and jamie raven not
I loved Richard's final act; however, he played on the emotions and barely used magic to tell the truth behind a hero, Fergus. I'm glad he did it. Whilst being a POW, for three years, Fergus used magic to save his mates lives as well as his own. They are both heroes. Don't knock this one. It's patriotic. I commend him as well as our troops world wide. Cheers!
Reading some comments, there’s no need to insult his act. The public voted for him fairly, as they were given a choice. Yes, he may be a soldier, but because of the *emotion* that was created by his act, the public made their decision. Just because the act you voted for didn’t win, doesn’t mean you can go and insult him. Actually have some decency, as he is serving our country.
Hey guys, he did the ultimate magic trick - casting a spell on the public to vote for him to win the show. That has to be classic magic right? I think Richard is amazing. He certainly deserves every talent he has made. Fabulous. Does everyone not realize that this is something special? I absolutely thought this act was amazing! He brought someone in, aged 97, who fought for Britain (a large country) years and years ago! I loved it I'm divided about this act. There was almost no magic involved, only a patriotic and emotional display to appeal to the emotions of the viewers. There might be plenty of people in the world that are more talented. But this performance has Heart. It raises big hopes and emotions. Greetings from Germany. I am sorry you left us. Awesome story to go along with the magic. I give thanks to all vets the ones still with us and the ones we have lost. a country that respects and honors its heroes ..... congratulations...and respect. This is deeply heartwarming. I'm glad he did it. Whilst being a POW, for three years, Fergus used magic to save his mate's lives as well as his own. They are both heroes. Don't knock this one. It's patriotic. I commend him as well as our troops worldwide. Cheers! I'm not British but, an American. I loved the story. Would like to see it made into a movie because I've never heard of such a story like this before. I think this is great and meaningful, almost all comments just focus on the evolution of magic tricks, but this man actually showed the origin and the spirit of it. So cool how he managed to do this trick and tell a story at The same time! Of course, I know this trick isn't the most difficult one in The world but I think The way he performed it was the way he won! He deserved to win. This show is about talent but it also requires skill to do self-marketing. This card trick may not be the best in the world but he put a brilliant act together with a beautiful idea. He is a genuinely nice person and his audition and semi-final act were pretty magical. I am not British at all but this act really moved me and in my opinion a very worthy winner. As an American military man, I salute any veteran, no matter what country they served, who fought alongside America in WWII. It isn't just about the magic, it's also about the way he uses it to tell the story. Sure, they're simple tricks, but sometimes simple is good. In this case, the magic was a supporting act to the main story, all leading up to the dramatic ending, and the way he timed it perfectly with the music. So, the next time you're trying to criticize someone for having "no talent," make sure you know what talent they were trying to demonstrate. In this case, of course, the talent he was demonstrating was showmanship. War veteran! I choose you!! War veterans and Richard used emotional and patriotic influence on viewers! It was super effective!! you better watch all of his performance before you judge him. he's amazing, especially the book trick he did in the semi-finals. This was great! I am glad Richard won Wow!!! Brave Soldier....the guts to Risk everything for the sake of bringing back a "Veteran" to the View of the Masses!!!! Big Hearts of Richard Jones!!! Salute!!
old man ?? show some god damn respect. that man is a war hero who fought on the front lines in world war 2. he served his country and helped fight for the right of free speech your using today. why shouldnt he get his spotlight and the world know who he is.
lol all the haters saying he got through with no talent.... clearly he is a talented musician but this show isn't about talent, it's about entertainment... and like it or not, this act was entertaining.. obviously there is talent in the world that exceeds in bounds far beyond what these shows find... this is TV people. Wake up.
Like so many others, l was forced to read some very negative comments about this performance. The 97 year old gentleman, a fellow military man and magician quite probably is idolized by Richard. Here was way to give honor to this man as a soldier and a magician. Another British military magician, David Masceline (spelling?), the war magician was quite possibly The unsung hero for events leading up to and through El Alamein. If the tarnisher is not 100% sure of Richard's motives, that person should keep the black paint on the shelf it might get on them. From a Vietnam veteran.
Thanks for the kind words Henry. I am pleased to see you understood the respect i was trying to give to the veterans who gave so much before us. Unfortunately this respect is lost among many in this modern era. Thank you for your service. Richard
Amazing and how he was shuffling cards through it all... I'm extremely impressed this was a intensely stunning and brilliant to watch hugs Lynn Weasenforth 💯💜💛💙🌹☮️😘 stay safe from the pandemic madness we are all going through
Nice comment! I agree. Such a good point. I really wanted Jammie Raven to win last year and he is way better than this one. I was very disappointed with the judges decisions this year as they have sent home some really talented people like saulo and the comic magician and put through some bad acts like the alien and the dinosaur. Lost my hope with this show. Wanted Wayne to win
Video description says it all: emotional blackmail with a cheap card trick. He didn't had a 3-legged puppy, so he called a war veteran instead. Totally lost my respect for him (not that he cares, he's rich now).
CidGuerreiro1234 How do you know that? That's right you don't! People wouldn't have voted for him if he wasn't a great magician or if his performance wasn't great! People voted for him because they thought he was a great magician and because they loved his performance here! He won because he is a great magician and done a fantastic performance!
Lucy Lu Well you don't know that either :P We'll just have to agree to disagree. In my opinion Alex, Wayne, Jasmine, Boogie Storm and the 100 Voice of Gospel were all more deserving of being the winners this year.
CidGuerreiro1234 I was rooting for Alex Magala, Trip Hazard and Richard Jones to win this year! I was originally rooting for Jack Higgins but he got voted out which was disappointing so I had change one of my rootings to Richard Jones!
Emotional blackmail, or not, this act was fantastic, and the perfect one to perform for the crowned head of Great Britain. He's got my vote....even tho I'm not British.
i am fan of magicians in general and i like to see a magician to win bgt but not him.all his acts was done in agt 2 or 3 years back.nothing new nothing special.last years runner up was much better than him
I agree that he is not the best magician to ever be on BGT but I have never seen any magician on BGT perform an origional effect, they just change the patter for the same old tricks that have been around for years which Richard Jones also did in his performances
+Mark O'Sullivan it is not about having permission or not. This show and his performance was ordinary. I know he has potential to do better tricks and he did not deserve to win.
And I can't believe Susan Boyle lost to jumping crickets. Just how do the "yutes" of Britain afford the 50p to call in a vote? All in the eye of the beholder. BTW, try doing the trick or any trick other than running your mouth.
fergus salute you for your service to our country.thank you for fighting for our freedom your a hero and the story was amazing. the magic wasnt great but it was a tribute to the magic the war hero used himself when he was wounded fighting in the war. proud to be british
lol, he won by playing the war veteran card. I might do that next time im in a competition, he screwed up the card trick when he was trying to reveal the picture. laaaaaaame
there are so many magicians in the word that are on the street and if you ask them they will probably know how to do this lame trick.. there were so many other great talents that should won...the puplic voted because he is a british solder...just like they voted for the dogs because they're cute
OMG. THIS ACT SUCKED. THE BRITISH GOT IT WRONG IN 2016! HE BROUGHT A 93 YEAR OLD VETERAN ON STAGE. HE HID HIS CARD AS HE REACHED FOR THE MATCH. HELLO. LOOK AT HIS HANDS. THERE WAS NO MAGIC. I AM UPSET BECAUSE I WATCHED THIS SHOW TO FIND OUT THIS ACT WON.
Dog acts and cheap tricks. This guy already had so many financial benefits, and advantages. Such a shame that the goods only go to people who already have goods. Not even a talented one at that.
Not dismissing his suffering, and his story IS interesting and inspiring, but I find it frustrating how he guilt-tripped the audience to vote on him with his sad backstory, and by having his entire act spin around it....plus this gained him the votes of the military, and their families. His tricks barely had anything new to show, they were just a different version of the ones he did on previous auditions. I'm actually REALLY DAMN disappointed with BGT this year...
This show really isn't just about talent, i mean, everyone in the finals are super talented... it's also about performance, how to attract the audience and he delivered a stunning performance, the magic trick wasn't the main attraction this time, it was the military and how he honored it. So, while i agree, the magic sucked, i think his performance was great.
Everyone that's saying this is not magic, look at all his other performances, do they involve enough magic for you????? It is a very warming act and the queen would love this. It is one of the best ways of representing his country. I'd like to see you guys trying to do the tricks that he's completed and then hate on him!
Right on, Spiritman. Emotional blackmail, manipulation. For the trick, I was even ready to stretch it and accept that Richard did this, even though it was shown on AGT 2013 (Collins Key): hard to be original these days with all that's already been done. But when he brought in the vet, I got literally sick. How nauseating that he would even think of doing this. And how profoundly worrying that the British people let themselves being such manipulated. Profoundly worrying.
Yup, what a disgusting con. I'm seriously considering not bothering with BGT next year. I thought I might upload The Voice instead, but the BBC sold out and now ITV is going to do it - that means commercial breaks and probably a lot of dumbing down... viewing figures (from the gormless masses) are always more important to them than putting out a quality show. That means it'll be like X-Factor, with useless singers auditioning as well. (What I loved about The Voice was that all the singers could at least sing, even if they weren't always the best.)
Well, first of all i want to say Thank you , for uploading theese full performances, they really help us see the entire atmospehere. And for the first time on a show, i'm really embarrased about the winner. I'm a magician and i know what i'm talking about. That trick is a cheap one, and it has been presented already on America's Got Talent quite a long time ago. Alex Magala, in my opinion- and in the opinion of most normal people- is the one who deserved to win. He's got all for that- Stage presence, confidence, a really dangerous and crazy stunt, and he is doing that so good. That's all i had to say.
Yah, he did bring out a war veteran, but that magic trick was a show of respect to that veteran who saved countless lives and even put his life into danger. Veterans don't get enough recognition these days or respect even, so he used this card trick to profess that. I don't see it as blackmail.
That aside, I think there are too many magicians winning these competitions, they might as well call it Magicians Got Talent, cause that's literally what it feels like
Oh no. idolising kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner is soooo much better than a soldier who does magic. Can you even do a simple magic trick? How about one where you vanish into a puff of smoke. Please.
If you are american, remember last year a ventriloquist won america's got talent wilist doing the same thing this man did. Copy other people's acts to make it their own. The ventriloquist copied alot of famous ventriloquists to use in bits and pieces of his shows, I forgot one (stoled the leaving the stage act) but the other famous one is Jeff Dunham (multiple talking bit, and in other shows peanut's famous vroom flip of the hair bit)
Okay, so this guy expressed disdain towards the British entertainment and then suddenly everyone presumed he's an American. Really? and FYI the Kardashians are probably the most bashed and most hated family in the US.
I could do better card tricks. I agree What card trick? Wrap yourself up in flag and country and you can win and undermine real talent. Wayne Woodward a better entertainer deserved better.
tom piper, oh really? u can do better tricks? i doubt it, 1st trick for u to learn now is to figure out as the 1st thing comes to mind, how did he even get into the finals with those tricks? go check his audition and semis b4 u make a judgement on how skilled he is.
Wayne Woodward should have won. Perhaps if he had waved the flag and brought out some WW II veterans he could have won. Apparently the voters , to quote Noel Coward, adore cheap sentiment.
+Spiritman Productions no dont stop uploading :( where else will i find full auditions and results within minutes of being uploaded on the official bgt channel?
Im from New York but I watch the show coz of Alex Magala's thrilling act but looking at the final results makes me feel ashamed of BGT. I think they completely lost it
Wow!!! Brave Soldier....the guts to Risk everything for the sake of bringing back a "Veteran" to the View of the Mass!!!! Big Hearts of Richard Jones!!! Salute!!
So much saltiness in the comments section. He was able to tell an emotional story whilst doing magic tricks. Not necessarily complex magic tricks because he has to keep the judges focused on the story. Bringing the man out gives an even more emotional feel to this act to the audience live and at home. That was his strategy, to use the unity of the British people and their pride for their veterans to make him win this talent show. That's his talent.
It's sad how people don't realise what a performance is, and thus insult a successful one. Owning the stage is about putting on a good show and entertaining, not about performing the most technically difficult tricks. Most, if not all, magicians have great pieces centred around very simple tricks. Richard Jones' performance here was well planned, entertaining, and instilled emotions in his audience. That is the definition of a good performance. Also, I suggest the up-loader of this video looks up the definitions of certain words or phrases, before using them in a sentence aimed at attacking another persons success: Envy?
oh my god!!!! The magic sucked. nothing aside from what he did serving his country.....But the magic sucked!! he won cause he got pity votes for serving in the army. it wasn't based on his performance. very disappointed
I thought Richard was a magician, not a fucking storytelling patriot. The fucking last magician made a helicopter appear, all he did was be patriotic while doing an average card trick while telling a story about how his grandad showed a bunch of Japanese soldiers card tricks to stay alive. Meanwhile Alex almost dies to a chainsaw, Wayne made an amazing performance and the only mistake he made was the song choice and boogie storm made an amazing performance as well. And this guy like I said before just played army music, did a card trick and showed his grandad. He's almost more manipulative than last years winner.
This trick has been performed by Mat Franco in 2013 during his audition for AGT. It works because it's funny and a well done trick. Jones is just not at that level. Nothing's wrong with the trick.
While I viewed this segment recently, I know, having served in the military, in a war zone, what laughter means to the troops. I was there when Bob Hope entertained the troops in SE Asia. Lance Corporal Richard Jones is a patriot. He uses magic to entertain the masses and at the same time recognize the brave sacrifices of our heroes of the past. Shame on you who dare question his sincerity or talent. Don't disparage our soldiers or burn the flag until you have wrapped your self up in the flag and bled for your country.
Hey guys, he did the ultimate magic trick - casting a spell on the public to vote for him to win the show. That has to be classic magic right?
It's called manipulation...
MetteC5 That's the beauty of magic folks!
Ok, let me say it differently: magic is about playing tricks with the mind, not the heart
Are you a magician yourself? How would you know that?
It's my personal opinion, that I take entire responsibility for.
So many hater in comment 😂 I'm not even British I found this awesome I would give him win just from semi final acts
Cheers mate!
Hey Kenz200g, thanks for the kind words :)
Absolutely fantastic.
All the negative comments, sad sad people, great act and a chance for the public to see a true hero and show him some respect - well done young man!
I do t wanna whine, but have you seen alex magala? The dude risked his life multiple times in each audition. Magic is cool but there are tens of thousands of magicians. When was the last time you saw a sword swallower do backflips?
I'm divided about this act. There was almost no magic involved, only a patriotic and emotional display to appeal to the emotions of the viewers.
Staas Simmeo Darcy Oake is still the best magician BGT ever had, then Jamie Raven.
Kristian Orozco Come on, you don't have to be a magicin to know how he pulled that off. You say "classic", I say silly and overdone. That same trick without the whole Brittish patriotism overdose and not even his mom would vote for him.
I think Brynolf & Ljung should have gone through the semi finals.
You are a tough cookie to please! +CidGuerreiro1234 I personally loved all of his performances especially this one! Be more easy going please!
+Lucy Lu easy going for the finals? No way. Should be judged on the talent of the act and not the emotion behind it.
"I'm a soldier, my brother is a soldier, my parents and my grandparents were soldiers, here is old man who was soldier. Soldier, soldier, soldier..."

I am from the United States but his performance makes me proud to be British, albeit 300 years removed. I think magic is all about presentation, some of which is an illusion but all of which is interesting to watch.
How did this win? .___.
My thoughts exactly.
Hungarians 'Attraction' won in 2013.
I'm sorry, you didn't see their faces? Well go watch the auditions, semis and the finals and let me know. I remember each and every face.
...We could see their faces in Attraction. You are trying to be racist when there is no racism involved.
They don't "choose" a British person to win *just* because they are British. Ninjaя Steяn
i really love the background music/instrumental used in this act.
he looks just like captain america
You mean captain britian
Awesome story to go along with the magic. I give thanks to all vets the ones still with us and the one's we have lost.
He has true talent and deserves to show that to his boss and our royal family at the variety performance. well deserved and great story...amazing
I think this is great and meaningful, almost comments just focus on the evolution of magic tricks, this man actually showed the origin and the spirit of it.

Even i am arab i felt so angry to the judges .. glad Richard won the talent Alex is my favorite
cmon this guy is very clever!
Boogie Storm will win if he didn't brought that grandpa...he just know that that was gonna take him to win.....--__--
+Mark mark he copied 3 people's acts from americas got talent. Not original

Who's that old guy and what is his connection to having a talent?
Precisely.
Hes part of the story and trick. It was based around him. The right person won tonight.
A war hero used to get emotional votes for a cheap trick.
+unicusDOTcom I agree, the right person won tonight.
+unicusDOTcom THE WORST DISGUSTING PERSON FAKE ASS WON LMFAO

So that was it? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Not just one 1 legend but 2 legends
it was ridiculous..what a tricky bastard. ....it sucks.
Amazing and how he was shuffling cards through it all... I'm extremely impressed this was a intensely stunning and brilliant to watch hugs Lynn Weasenforth 💯💜💛💙🌹☮️😘 stay safe from the pandemic madness we are all going through
only trick was getting the card back together, which ironically, Raven did that same night in larger scale with newspapers. :)
Wanted Wayne to win
andyandykz, no, the only trick he needed to win the show was his semi finals.
I really did enjoy watching Richard Jones perform and after seeing this video of the final, no longer.
Video description says it all: emotional blackmail with a cheap card trick. He didn't had a 3-legged puppy, so he called a war veteran instead. Totally lost my respect for him (not that he cares, he's rich now).
No this was not blackmail. He deserved to win and this was one of his best performances so far!
Lucy Lu I am very disappointed because he didn't won for being a magician, he won for being a soldier.
Lucy Lu Well you don't know that either :P
We'll just have to agree to disagree.
What's the title of the soundtrack while he was telling the story?
My cat is frustrated with these results.
Get your cat fixed!
Am I the only one who doesnt get it ? Where is the magic ?
3:05 he was hiding the torn card on his right hand
Nowhere
kel x, where is his magic? the answer is: his magics are in his auditions and semis.
True, I loved his audition and semifinal but this one I didnt get it maybe because I'm not British :)
The magic is that he won
Emotional blackmail, or not, this act was fantastic, and the perfect one to perform for the crowned head of Great Britain. He's got my vote....even tho I'm not British.
i am fan of magicians in general and i like to see a magician to win bgt but not him.all his acts was done in agt 2 or 3 years back.nothing new nothing special.last years runner up was much better than him
I agree that he is not the best magician to ever be on BGT but I have never seen any magician on BGT perform an origional effect, they just change the patter for the same old tricks that have been around for years which Richard Jones also did in his performances
i disagree with you.last years runner up made better tricks with more sleight of hand in them and his first act is still a mystery.
Well all those tricks were performed by Mat Franco in America got talent. He just stole them
+suvacar
he didn't steal them he had permission to use them
+Mark O'Sullivan it is not about having permission or not. This show and his performance was ordinary. I know he has potential to do better tricks and he did not deserve to win.
I cried, I smiled, this is a great show !!!
I can't believe he won. The trick is simple and he made a mistake. 3:44
And 3:08
And I can't believe Susan Boyle lost to jumping crickets. Just how do the "yutes" of Britain afford the 50p to call in a vote? All in the eye of the beholder. BTW, try doing the trick or any trick other than running your mouth.
fergus salute you for your service to our country.thank you for fighting for our freedom your a hero and the story was amazing. the magic wasnt great but it was a tribute to the magic the war hero used himself when he was wounded fighting in the war. proud to be british
matt franko did it b4 and he was better
and he did it for his AUDITION and didn't take advantage of emotion
franco was insane..
what the name of song when flag is open ? i hear same song in opening rwc 2015,is that a british national athem ?
I BET THE JUDGES WERE SCARED TO JUDGE INSIDE
What is the background music during the act
lol, he won by playing the war veteran card. I might do that next time im in a competition, he screwed up the card trick when he was trying to reveal the picture. laaaaaaame
And the folding part. Could clearly see that the card was doubled
youre jealous bleeeh because he won
+Joshua Jumao-as he won by failing. Now thats talent!
+YrielRazik your jealous you dont have talent hahahaha
there are so many magicians in the word that are on the street and if you ask them they will probably know how to do this lame trick..
there were so many other great talents that should won...the puplic voted because he is a british solder...just like they voted for the dogs because they're cute
This was great! I am glad Richard won
He looks like Captain America before he gets strong.
so im not the only who thinks like that then
AS soon as I started watching this video, I started scrolling down the comments to see if anyone else noticed how he's Chris Evans's doppleganger.
haha, I've been working out since :) lol
this was also on americas got talent, that magician guy who also won but this was done on his auditions...
at least he looks good in his dress Blues, if that's what they call it in the British Army
What is the background song when he start to tell the story
Elfranxios i vow to thee my country
The way he made the picture appear was the same as Mat Franco in America's Got Talent. He also won this prize. lol
Dog acts and cheap tricks. This guy already had so many financial benefits, and advantages. Such a shame that the goods only go to people who already have goods.
Not even a talented one at that.
A little mean there!
pitiful reply.....do you cry when your football team loses too?
Simon Ford
What is football?
Simon Ford a little confusing who your comment is for.
Ash Dean man you must be one angry person since all your replies have been so rude.
As an American military man I salute any veteran, no matter what country they served, that fought alongside America in WWII.
I mean, how can you not vote for 97 years old war veteran. It's a perfect shield.
This show really isn't just about talent, i mean, everyone in the finals are super talented... it's also about performance, how to attract the audience and he delivered a stunning performance, the magic trick wasn't the main attraction this time, it was the military and how he honored it. So, while i agree, the magic sucked, i think his performance was great.
it was half assed, lacked content and felt half completed
Wow. Soldiers who fought in Singapore. Mad respect sir
He looks like captain America
Capn' Murica looks like him
Everyone that's saying this is not magic, look at all his other performances, do they involve enough magic for you????? It is a very warming act and the queen would love this. It is one of the best ways of representing his country. I'd like to see you guys trying to do the tricks that he's completed and then hate on him!
He just played on their emotions and they fell for it like idiots. This is so embarrassing.
for real!
I feel same like this way too .he is winner now ,just total bullshit programme set by simon .is it talent hunt show or national day of british .LMAO .
You are embarrasing.
Can't handle the truth?
Selima A he is a finalist, he got there with awesome magic tricks, last show is just a ''show''
What is the name of the music, please ?
Where's the magic? Not impressive at all. The others finalist deserved the win more than this manipulator.
skiress123 so when singers preform dance moves or dramatic clothing, it’s exactly the same.
Skires you're crazy🤣🤣, let the man be
when i see this performance, i remember Mat Franco from america's got talent
Looks and confidence got him to win!
No. Pity and more pity got him to win
uhmm.. no comment
the way he bumbled that last trick didn't look too confident to me
That green-eyed monster, hey YDA? Or, do you lack looks and confidence?
Magician: plays with peoples emotions, wins. People are mad he won.
These same people applaud singers who essentially do the same thing...
I so understand your attitude and will not waste time on watching BGT anymore. As for The Voice: sounds encouraging...
That aside, I think there are too many magicians winning these competitions, they might as well call it Magicians Got Talent, cause that's literally what it feels like
Whats the name of the song in the background
he has the car cupped and he tucks it away at 3:11 in an excuse of getting a lighter Other wise I could see the card
found yah, this was exactly my reaction
does anyone who the intermentel instermet playing in the background
Im proud Im not british... I would be embarassed that this is the talent of our country.
Oh no. idolising kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner is soooo much better than a soldier who does magic.
Haha, Exactly Frodo. I just think that bgt has gone really low. And Im from Europe.
Actually the talent that makes it onto this show is pretty good...it's just the viewers who vote that are the idiots.
Whats the name of the background music
I could do better card tricks. I agree What card trick? Wrap yourself up in flag and country and you can win and undermine real talent. Wayne Woodward a better entertainer deserved better.
As a beginner....I'm not impressed...srsly wtf.hahaha
tom piper, oh really? u can do better tricks? i doubt it, 1st trick for u to learn now is to figure out as the 1st thing comes to mind, how did he even get into the finals with those tricks? go check his audition and semis b4 u make a judgement on how skilled he is.
+irthos0 Read all the other comments that don't think he's was great either not just mine.He see how they reply to you.
Wayne Woodward should have won. Perhaps if he had waved the flag and brought out some WW II veterans he could have won.
Apparently the voters , to quote Noel Coward, adore cheap sentiment.
I'm not British, but I feel very emotional after watching this :(
Seriously - this won the show? Wow BCT has gone badly down hill.
Yup. I'll probably stop uploading it because 1. The judges have lost the plot, and 2. I think a lot of the people who vote are actually orangutans.
+Spiritman Productions anything happened with voting system this season?
+Spiritman Productions no dont stop uploading :( where else will i find full auditions and results within minutes of being uploaded on the official bgt channel?
We will see. My heart needs to be in it.
Im from New York but I watch the show coz of Alex Magala's thrilling act but looking at the final results makes me feel ashamed of BGT. I think they completely lost it
The British public voted for this fellow to win the finals.
the worst winner ever .. shame on you BGT .. he is not even original and wtf was that supposed to mean by bringing the veteran
Obviously you never saw Paul Potts, the first winner of BGT, all he did was imitate Pavarotti, he was the worst.
Every trick he did was from the following people LIVE on AGT - Audition Oz Pearlman Semi Final - Collins Key Final - Mat Franco
It was not an act to win the show. He won not because of his performance which was so random magic but because of that old man .
Yes i just saw it now, this was not his best act at all but still i wish him all the luck.
yea I agree jamie raven had the talent to win but he didn't, Alex magala did but he didn't win because he was tugging emotional bullshit for the votes
Wow!!! Brave Soldier....the guts to Risk everything for the sake of bringing back a "Veteran" to the View of the Mass!!!! Big Hearts of Richard Jones!!! Salute!!
he won? why? thousands of magiccian running around with tricks like this - boring
hes great loved all his acts, well done
embarrassingly manipulative.
Totally.
Has it occurred to you lot that the real talent here is manipulating the audience? That's the game here.
at least with a purpose!
true !
I agree. Not a worthy winner
How ridiculous!
THIS won!?!
Where is the AMAZING talent!?!
Urh this yr Winner so not so deserve ..just because he from the soldier and the magic tricks so basic ...! Very disappointed this yr Winner .
jason ng, this round was basic, but not in his auditions and semi.
An amazing military storytelling magic trick ☺️
oh my god!!!! The magic sucked. nothing aside from what he did serving his country.....But the magic sucked!! he won cause he got pity votes for serving in the army. it wasn't based on his performance. very disappointed
hopefully agt will be better
#BritainsGotSympathy2016 spread the word and use this hashtag on other videos
alguien que pueda traducir el video a español?
I thought Richard was a magician, not a fucking storytelling patriot.
The fucking last magician made a helicopter appear, all he did was be patriotic while doing an average card trick while telling a story about how his grandad showed a bunch of Japanese soldiers card tricks to stay alive.
Meanwhile Alex almost dies to a chainsaw, Wayne made an amazing performance and the only mistake he made was the song choice and boogie storm made an amazing performance as well.
And this guy like I said before just played army music, did a card trick and showed his grandad.
He's almost more manipulative than last years winner.
Totally agree.
The last magician also got a card from a frikin lemon in the final
Haha , So What You're Gonna Do Bout That? You're Not Jones . You're Nothing To Me
