You can improve your ramp design. It looks like the entrance to the PVC pipe ramp is buried. You should cut the top part of the pipe so the larvae can actually use it. It also looks super wet in there.
I've seen a lot of these who add a drainage tube at the end
We have a drainage tube for the compost bin that gives us great compost tea. We should add a hole or two to the bucket that the soldier fly larvae drop in as well.
Kind of moist 😂😂😂😂 bro drain that water!
😅Trying to! Recently we have begun using the compost tea almost daily. That has made a huge difference in several ways - 1. things are composting better 2. better habitat for the soldier fly larvae 3. our plants have loved it.
@@fruitoflabor6891why not just twist that elbow coupling down and let the tea drain immediately into an empty/clean milk or laundry detergent jug?
Compost tea? How?
As things breakdown or if rainwater gets inside, I let the water inside the bin drain out through a pvc pipe into a bucket. I mix that with water and water plants with it.
Way to wet.
Since this video we have had the drainage system flow into a larger bucket and it has made a huge difference
the ramps are all wrong.
Wrong in what way?
