I'm still trying to figure out why our government is allowed to track us and tell us what to do how the constitution doesn't protect us from being told what to do by our own government
Like you said, where sometimes run short on hrs when driving slower so gotta step on it sometimes to squeeze everything in the confines (and also raise stress level) instead of takin 'er easy
I have an ELD exempt truck. However, I run my paper logs as if I do have an ELD in the truck because they’re supposed to be a mandate come June 2025 for ALL trucks to use an ELD. In this day and age, that’s the safest thing to do. Because if there is a tragic accident, the first thing the DOT will subpoena is your cell phone records to pinpoint your location and compare that with your logs.
@MakeCentsTrucking just turn on that split sleeper button, and you can string that 14 out all day long. Personally, I like to knock out my 500 in 8 or less and not even pull a 30
Ever been on alligator 🐊 alley down in south Florida?? 50-60 mile stretch of highway maybe longer no truck stops rest areas nothing . Just a narrow lane towards Miami surrounded by ocean 🌊 and swamp land . I was almost running over gators . Never seen so many in my life at least 10 -15 gators side of the road middle of the road water . I thought it was cool 😎
I agree but we both know the eld not about a safety thing in my 2 cents it’s more about fuel taxes companies was bad about cheating on there fuel tax back in the day just my opinion there worries ahout money not safety good vid brother like always be safe
Good Morning, The ELD is not the problem, the hours of service are the issue. I started in 96’, I understand the argument, however you have more time available with the ELD than you do paper logs, why? Paper logs you can only log in 15 min increments, the ELD is real time. Something has to be done though, guys drive like maniacs because of their clock issues at times. Stay safe
How about no 70 hour limit?
I’m fine with that. I’d just like to have 14 hr a day to drive how I like. I like to roll slow and still get 700 miles a day if need be.
Eclipse Logs on a laptop was spectacular 🎉
Basically a paper log after you printed it

i just liked and subscribered
Awesome. Glad to have ya 👊
One time like 3-4 years ago I was out there on I-10 and a truck was hanging half way over that bridge barely hanging on 🤯
Drove that bridge twice in past 8 days running Florida to Phoenix and back
THEY SHOULD'VE LEFT IT REGULAR LOGS INSTEAD OF THIS MESS
Agreed
You'll never see paper again because it's all about the data collection
That's the truth
True. I’d like 14 a day to drive how I like. I like to roll slow and easy.

@@kelvinzaiontz5368Funny how that works huh just imagine all the dead beef if they had to run elds lol.
Will. You be going to. Mats this year?
I should be 😎🫡
I always think I see gators in the water on that stretch of road.
No CDL for people that can't speak English or speak broken English
💯💯
That's really odd that you would see a gator this time of year.
What ELD do you use now Sammy and do you like it
I use Motive and yes.

I delivered to that WM dc last week.😂
Eld has made the roads more dangerous.
It has definitely changed the game, that's for sure.
I agree with you
ELD doesn't change federal law... it doesn't change HOS
AIN'T THAT SOMETHING 🤔🤔
All these years of videos time to get the audio better 😂😂. Get some mics already
Come on brother you’ve missed my videos talking about that 😎😎😜😜 how you been man?
