Thank you for these videos, they were very helpful. I like that this method allows the machine to more or less stay put together. Holy crap though, getting that steam wand through the fixture is no joke. In my case I found it easier to work with the hose clamp taken off prior to removal.
For those commenters concerned about the food safety of teflon thread tape, I was worried about the same thing but after a little bit of research I'm willing to take my chances. I'm not an expert but I did find some info by looking at the MSDS for the tape that set my mind at ease:
    "Polytetrafluoroethylene
can eemit toxic fumes when heated to temperatures exceeding 700F. The max
operating temperature for this compound is around 500F. At these temps PTFE
does not undergo any thermal degradetion and is not hazardous"
Those temps are quite a bit higher than the maximum you would reasonably expect to get from the espresso machine steam (~200-300F). You can drink easy knowing that the rich velvety microfoam in your latte probably isn't full of toxic fumes.

Evan Carson thanks for clearfying the Teflon tape issue. In my first machine, I was actually accidentally cut the hose off the machine when I try to get the wand out. I agree with you that it's easier to work with the wand when the hose is out of the way. But it's still quite scary adventure especially for the first time I work on this machine as I was a bit worried about breaking the machine lol.
Once again, thanks for stopping by and appreciate your sharing too!

also another typ, your videos i think would get lot more views if you change the thumbnails to show the actual maschine or what you gonna do....because there are less informative videos by people who have no idea about modifications of this maschine with more, but your videos deserve more views because very useful

Martin Kulik I thought about this also. I would definitely take this into my consideration on my future upload

Thank you for visiting. Yes, if you have the appropriate tools that I used in the video, those are the parts you will be needing. Not too difficult task at all.

No one worried about the zip tie melting ?

I would think a simple stainless hose clamp would be a better substitute

@@HowToHydroponics If you can find one that small. Maybe a high pressure fuel injection clamp?

I think it would be much more easy to install it after removing of boiler

Дмитрий Муляр I broke my previous EC155 when I tried to remove the boiler. I tried to do it without taking the machine apart too much.
