    The best step-by-step latte art tutorial on youtube... finally someone explained and demonstrated all small steps that are required for a good pouring technique. Thank you!

    One of my biggest problems has always been not having clear contrast for latte art. I have looked up a lot of tutorials on how to create better latte art, but no-one I've watched has explained how to properly "sink the milk". Thank you so much, I am excited to try this next time I work!

    This is by far the best explanation online. I liked that you not only told what to do, but also explained the physics. As an aside, I miss the style of youtube production where the content is filmed without jump cuts.

    • @WolffCoffeeRoasters
      @WolffCoffeeRoasters  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Essentially, not much difference, they're built to do the same thing. There might be small variants of power+spin from the 2 to the 4, can't say which one is better. I'd adjust accordingly.. The four seems to be the more popular in a commercial setting and the two being prevalent on homes machines.

    Really needed a “how to pour” video which is where I think I’ve been screwing up. A lot of videos are about how to make latte art or steaming milk, but I don’t think I get the “canvas” right. This is super helpful and gonna give it a try! Ive been holding the cup wrong and never understood the tilting of the cup other than maybe it was more comfortable or looked cool, lol. Thank you!

    Howdy from Texas! Just a quick question, does the crema color depend on the roast of the coffee? I've noticed light-medium roasts give a clear crema, and medium-dark roasts produce a darker crema, for which the art looks better on. Awesome videos btw, super helpful!

    • @WolffCoffeeRoasters
      @WolffCoffeeRoasters  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! Crema is going to establish the really defined contrast in the latte art. You want a colour to the crema that is contrast to the creaminess white of the milk so yes darker the better there.. Crema does not depend on roast style alone though. Everything from grind, dose, yield, temperature and pressure impact the creation of crema as well. The flip side - too much crema and it will be difficult to cut though with milk as well. Crema is a product of espresso, but not so much the hallmark of a great tasting espresso as it used to be known.

    Great video. Even though its couple of years old, it is still one of the clearest instruction videos around. I got an issue whereby after setting the canvas and in going in for the second pour to create the heart from a low height, the white heart doesnt form and I can see milk still sinking in even though the spout is about 1 cm from the coffee surface. Any tips?

    • @WolffCoffeeRoasters
      @WolffCoffeeRoasters  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you!
      I believe you may have not enough air incorporated into your milk so its so thin it just sinks below the surface try adding more air into the milk when steaming and try to pour again. Hope this helps

    Nice video and a sweet girl with a great way to convey the message. I had never thought about the orientation of the cup when holding it. I'm a left handed and since I'm just entering this world I'm wondering more about whether a barista would ask the customer which hands they hold the cup with. Again, as a left handed person it's quite annoying to come across such situations when I realize the cup was clearly designed for a right hander.
