Hi ' nice player 'Battery life terrible 'about 5 hours 30 minutes tops 'I can take a 1 TB card ' I have 512gb in mine 'you can drag and drop tunes from the sd card holder from your laptop then put in the 105 go into settings and update the card from there. Like you I love my minidisc ' and vinyl.
@@KRAZEEIZATION I found the solution. It is to drag the entire album from the music center app on the computer and transfer it that way and not via the "not transferred " section of the app
Basically it’s an android device with no option to make calls or use mobile data for 400€. Nope I’ll just stick to my phone and bluetooth headphones that’s far cheaper and I can actually use data and make phone calls.
It’s not €400, it’s €200. The sound quality supersedes a phone and you have headphone 3.5 or Bluetooth. Some people don’t want to drag a big fat smartphone around with them. Plus I use NW-A45 with all my own music on a 64Gb chip. If the internet goes down then you’ll be twiddling your thumbs but as I own all my music on hard copy, vinyl, CD, etc, and on hard drives I’m always gonna be able to rock n roll!
It's one hell of a music player. Much better than what a phone outputs, if you care about your tunes you won't go back from using this it's incredible. You can buy for between 150 and 200 at the right time. On promotion regularly
Storage space? Can take a micro SD up to 128Gb. It’s not mine. It’s only a review. I use an NW-A45 and I love it. I own all my music. No steaming. No bullshite. If the internet goes down all the streamers will be dreamers!
@@willlesage7567 that’s a waste of time. 9 out of the 16 Gb is the software. I use a 64Gb in my NW-A45 filled with my own music from my own hard drives. Been using the NW-A45 everyday since November 2019 without a hitch. Excellent player.
SDXC cards up to 2TB, and its music so you don't even need v60 speed. It plays lossless and hi res, not sure how you are limited hi res unless you are blue toothing. Price, well $340 is different for different people.
Some people like the small size. Some people don’t want to be dragging a phone around when jogging, round the house etc. I’ve never used a cell phone as a media player.

I use Sony XB700 wireless. Plug in ear buys sound great too, and you can use the EQ with those.

I use the NW-A45 Walkman on the fly. I’m not keen on the internet intruding on my music!!!
Because it's USB C makes charging much easier.
how to transfer applications to sd card? to free up space on the device?

Why does the album art not appear when transferring the music file from computer to player?
Might be to large or wrong format? I had issues with this the odd time.

Honestly, it doesn't worth it for several reasons :
- the storage space
- the price
- the autonomy
- the limitations on HiRes music

The least Sony could do is make a sleek UI for this, I know they are capable. Instead it's just ugly Android.

The problem with Android on this particular device is that it is extremely power hungry and the battery depletes very quickly.
The batter life is appaling
Get the A306. A105 is horrible battery life unless you tinker with it and uninstall stuff
