    Why is China the only country not allowed to exercise its power on the global stage? Why is it only the west who's allowed to do that? E.g. why is the country in charge of regulating global nuclear weapons the only country to have ever used them against another country, twice, and both times on civilian populations?

      It would be fine if the CCP played fair, but they are constantly bribing smaller nations to vote in global measures that give China a huge trade advantage, our countries basically pay china to assist in shipping goods. They ignore international agreements that do not favor them whenever possible, sapping intellectual property from every nation they can. Every nation has been ignoring their blatant disregard for international cooperation for a long time, and that needs to change.

    The rise of China as an economic and innovative industrial power has been the cause of tensions between them and the USA. It is inevitable that China will surpass the USA as the world's largest economy and it has and will continue to challenge core US businesses like IT, Automotive and Aviation. The USA has shown it's strategy in attempting to harm Chinese business and have involved allies including the UK in that endeavour. This is short term and unlikely to do anything other than convince China to become more independent in the production of it's products and may lead to international standards being threatened. One has to consider how close US businesses are to their government through defence contracts and data sharing, unlike China who have made their business and government collaboration legally transparent. The USA cannot expect China to remain their cheap labour workshop and to keep open it's markets for the growth of GM, Ford, Tesla, Boeing etc if the reward is the deliberate destruction of China's growing businesses.

    The Chinese turned their once impoverished country around and they are now a world leader - they did something right. Great cities, some nice traditions and pride in themselves as a nation I do have Chinese friends and I respect them. Also I know if you live in a country then you must respect their rules and traditions - does not mean you need to partake. Personally I have lots of Chinese friends and the people are not to blame for any of this nor are they in USA but people like sheep do follow the media who are controlled or influenced by the establishment no matter what country you live in - divide and rule/religious dogma/tyrannical structures have been used as a tool for the established order to influence and control people as far back as we all existed. Nothing we can do to change that we have to live somewhere all of these systems are built on greed/control. I personally think that in going against China in the UK or USA we are messing up because we need trading partners post brexit in UK and the west should be able to buy goods from them and them us. We are undoing the great work of the people that helped us build up good relations over decades and its not like there are other countries in the world that have their ways you might not like yourself - UAE - mmmm what do you think of their record/traditions?...why is the focus suddenly on China ...because America are scared of loosing their position on the world stage I think. I fear for the world - I'm not on anyone's side no-ones perfect. 'Lives matter' ....Peace

      you sure china's not on the world stage because they're committing genocide, putting people in concentration camps, illegally harvesting the organs of prisoners, arresting rioters and growing increasingly more suffocating in regards to freedom laws? that you can't even mention the tiananmen square massacre in china without the CCP finding out and arresting you for it, and the dictator currently in charge has entirely banned winnie the pooh because he got upset that someone compared the two of them, shouldn't tell you just how tight their surveillance is? you can unironically be arrested because you encounter a copypasta on the internet there ffs, how can anybody defend a country this controlling in good conscience?
      want to also explain to me why every covid whistleblower has also mysteriously vanished or "died" from covid?
      china was a good country aeons ago, but right now it's nothing more than an orwellian communist hellhole that has to put nets outside its windows to stop child labourers from killing themselves, they're only a good business partner because they violate human rights to make cheaper products - the world has to stop relying on them for these kinds of acts to stop happening, and every new step towards that end goal helps improve the chances of china realising the inhumanity of the treatment of its people, and its land, given just how much they contribute to climate change too
      china had problems before but now they're being blatantly bad and nobody gives a shit - hitler did this shit 81 years ago and it started the bloodiest war in history, and while i'm not advocating a new war since the world can't handle it, they do need to wind their neck in right now because this is ridiculous, we didn't give hong kong back to china so they could violate the agreement and immediately send tanks and armed troops into the city

      @byromtaylor6482 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Doublejho I gave my opinion...I am not on anyone's side I think all countries are founded upon core values that represent greed and control of the masses. Some are tyrannical some give the illusion of democracy or socialism and that their system is superior and most all use religious dogma or their media or a combination of both to aid them with developing a ethos by which they influence to divide and concur people and through various mediums they peddle their flawed ethos and ideologies/propaganda down to us to help justify their actions. Now thousands of years ago before TV this was done through the pulpit which was the media of the day in which the powers that be got the message across to the masses. Now the powers that be use their governments influence or media and religious values and some still use all of these methods perhaps. I believe people are sheep and it does not matter what field you live in because as sheep we have to live somewhere and you must respect those traditions and rules/boundaries of that particular field. Some people have woken up to the way things are done and how people are subverted or influenced and some are aware of this divide and rule nonsense they peddle but there is nothing we can do about it because we are in a minority of people and as sheep we have to live somewhere. I do not believe Chinese people are to blame or American's or the UK by and large but do think the systems at the top of are flawed and open to manipulation and miss use. What I believe is that we have flawed systems of governance in place (worldwide) and these systems in place are based upon greed and control and they still use divide and concur methods that are centuries old - the world is a dangerous place and we are living in dangerous times ....Nothing anyone can do about it really revolution/protest solves nothing because they just replace one flawed system with another. I think 'lives matter' I might be called a black sheep with these views but I don't agree with 'identity politics' to me I'm still just a sheep.... peace x

      @@lynnross7513 Let me help you frame what the US wants from Britain: it's either us or China, as we are fighting a Cold War with the Chinese. So don't ever flirt with China again and don't expect you can trade with China as usual while maintaining the alliance. There is no middle way for the UK and you must choose the US and start cutting off the China ties if you want an FTA with the US and keep the alliance. Huawei is only the beginning. Anglo caused centuries-long notorious global Slavery, Colonialism & Colonization, World War I & World War II, and the lists go on.
      Among the five main Anglo nations; Britain, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, all but Britain is looted from others.
      How come Canada, with a mere 26 million population, is the largest trading partner of USA?
      Main exports of Canada, second largest land nation on earth, are land-based mineral resources.
      Less than half a million indigenous Native Canadian people remain most marginalized and poorest racial and ethnic group on their own land.

Anglo clans practiced centuries-long Slavery; from Caribbean to North & South America, by wiping out indigenous Native people originally living there, by replacing them with millions of slaves brought from Africa, by enslaving them and living off on their blood and sweat.
      Isn't it shocking to learn that Anglo invaded nine out of ten nation, all but 22 nations in the whole wide world ? Moreover, Anglo practiced centuries-long Colonialism in over 50 nations, by living off on their blood and sweat, as well as on those bountiful lands for natural mineral resources, which were essentials requirement for industrial revolution.
      Anglo still Colonized many parts of the world, including two vast bountiful Continents; North America and Australia Continents. China agreed with Britain not to interfere in Hong Kong affairs until 2047. Since China broke that agreement, Britain has an obligation to hold them to account. Moreover, as a former colony, Britain has certain duties to protect former subjects from tyranny. It's also the moral thing to do.

      Western countries actually spend more money to learn about China, as can be proven by countless think tanks that only focus on the country. There are no think tanks in China that analyze Western policies.
