I love how the "spooky mortuary jumpscare game" has the most accurate embalming process ever shown in a video game. I sold these chemicals and tools for years and it's wild to see them like this.
I think it’s the ONLY game that has an embalming process in it.
It would have been really cool if the dev made a full simulation version of the game that is without the horror elements and actually leans more into the science. An autopsy game in this engine could be really interesting, too!
@@chucklebutt4470 funny that you mention that, there’s a game coming out next month called Autopsy Simulator. It does look like it is still horror (they say “Horror elements,” so not as bad as Mortuary Assistant,) but is more centered on solving investigations as a pathologist.

Honestly I would have loved one of his hour or forty minute long videos about this game to see him learn the backstory and get all the endings. This game should have turned out as another dime a dozen jumpscare fest but it actually ended up being a genuinely good horror experience.

this has some nice spooky things and presentation, too bad my game bugged out and softlocked when i got near the ending
I never actually saw the bad ending, I figured it out pretty quickly and I'm too competitive to lose on purpose. It's a fun little game but I wish you could keep working and ignore the paranormal stuff going on. Just doing my job and work grinds to a halt so I can watch some corpse dance around going "look at me! Look at me!"
