Yeah me too! Even though there were so many ideas available I couldn't find anything that was both affordable and easy to recreate. My friend recommended planndesign.com and I found the perfect design for my room on it!
Go to your local thrift stores. You can find cheap mirrors & furniture & paint them yourself. Or paint the furniture that you have now. There's plenty of cheap diy videos on here that shows you how to glam up cheap stuff that you find at dollar tree & thrift stores.

iidxtinyii it really depends on who owns the house. The first several months I lived in my house we couldn’t paint it but once we finally got full ownership of it we were allowed to paint it
We are allowed to paint everything how we want but we have to paint everything white again when we move out (except very bright colors which would be shining through the new paint). Maybe you could ask your landlord if this is possible in your house, too?
