In 1965 I camped in site #129 with my parents and brother. In 1969 my grandmother parked her trailer in your site, #113. I remember the night of July 20th. Listening to our transistor radio to the live broadcast of the first lunar landing when Neil Armstrong stepped onto the surface of the moon. Lots of great memories of Kearney so long ago when I was a young boy. I hope you create memories too that will last your lives. Thank you for this excellent posting.
If I may add, that grassy area down below your campsite along the lake was a very sandy beach when I was there in 1965. There were canoes and boats landed there and folks sunning themselves on the beach. Very different today as you illustrate. Thank you again. Jim

Beautiful footage. I love Kearney lake! How was the air quality given the ongoing wildfires
It was good that weekend just morning fog we had
Is there canoe rentals? If so, how much?
I saw some canoe on the shore but not sure if it was for rent . Sorry for late answer
