@@f32440iBruh you do know he was a street boss right. That’s literally what he was. Caporegime basically signifies head of the family at least in Sicily. Caporegime (street boss) is the head of an organized crime syndicate who commands a crew of soldiers. So a captain or caporegime as well as an under boss which actually in Michael’s time was Sammy, were street bosses. Different titles but literally street boss. So yea Michael was indeed boss, a street boss.

Understanding the 'hmm' and 'mm's is a part of social understanding. The behavior is termed nonverbal acknowledgment. People can search this up if they want.
In addition to the UK people around the world do this too.
It's similar to nodding or blinking intentionally when something is being said. It's a subtle way of communicating 'im still present in this conversation' and I'm not going to interject with my own thoughts and opinions.
      Hope this helps!

For all the comments talking about Bobby going hmm mmm. I’m from the uk and have many relatives similar age or older than these two men which also tend to do this. It’s a respectful thing, Bobby is just letting Michael know that he is listening and give him his up most attention. It’s not a “out of his depth” thing, or a “mental decline” it’s pure respect. If you know anything about Bobby or any English gangster… they ain’t scared of sh!t. I genuinely think Bobby was just giving Michael the respect he very much deserves and Michael reciprocated because Bobby deserves just as much

I cant imagine the production, the dedication, the headaches of trying to fit these 2 in a room together. This has been such an eye-opener. I am in awe of the manners, etiquette & courtesy michael & bobby had for each other. Makes me wonder, why cant normal people like us talk to each other the way they both talked.

In twilight's glow, two men from lost streets meet,
One from New York, his voice rough but sweet.
He speaks of battles in the city's deep,
Where shadows and steel made their promises keep.
The other, from England’s rain-soaked lanes,
Shares tales of grit through cold and pain.
They find solace in their twilight chat, two souls united by the darkness they’ve left behind.

Honestly, love the quote "Prison is the university of crime," because it is absolutely right, with the way many prison treat prisoners (even ones with release dates), you really wonder how people can say prison teaches people a lesson and puts them on the right path as it really doesn't. It makes their life hell inside of prison and when out many go right back into illegal activities even scaling up compared to what they previously did. Being in prison does not help people and never will be when society has been and as it is right now (if it doesn't change) it will continue to be the main problem. People's families, their local environment, their educational environment, it's what shapes people into who they become and who they associate it with.
So, if you've never been to prison, never came close or never thought about it, really thank the people and environment you grew up around and in, as they helped shape you onto a good path from the beginning as at the end of the day people make choices themselves, but you can't always blame people for making bad choices if you never consider how they felt and what choices they felt they had.

Gotta admire criminal logic... It's not about the money, it's about brotherhood. Proceeds to kill your brothers.
It's about discipline. Lacks the discipline to make honest money. It's about respect. Kills people for power. It's about being a made man. Lives in fear with targets on their backs. 💀

Regarding the shocking Age Difference: Has nothing to do with Genes but how much Stress, Bad Food, Diseases etc. you experienced in your Life.
I'm German and one of my Relatives was a convicted War Criminal of WW2 he spent most of WW2 in a 24/7 stressful Environment and after the War both in a Gulag for 10 Years and then also a few Years in a Western Allied Prison in Germany. He died at the age of 97 but while i grew up with him around he basically looked the same at Age 68 as my Paternal Grandfather (Also a WW2 Veteran but not a War Criminal nor ever a POW) when he was in his late 80s.
I often think about that stark Contrast and how it explains why a lot of WW2 Veterans especially (from any Country) somehow looked and acted like they're in their 90s while they were in their early 70s, while their Children who are now in their early 70s look about 20 Years younger than their Fathers did
Prost & Cheers from Berchtesgaden in the Bavarian Alps
