  • Whale's Tale in Lincoln, New Hampshire is the best water park in New England. This water park is nestled in the White Mountains and it's an all-around great park from the water slides to the customer service. Find out why you should visit this park in this review!

    We used to go to this place every year when I was a kid. I loved going there. Glad to see a family run park still in business! Anyone remember when Fantasy Farm was next door?

    I LOVE Whale’s Tail. I haven’t been in many years, but I used to frequent Whale’s Tail, Six Gun City, and Santa’s Village on trips to NH. I was happy to stumble onto your video and will definitely be watching more of your videos as Carowinds is my home park.

    I'll keep this place in mind should I revisit New England in the future with friends. Perhaps a review of Water Country should come next just to see how it compares to this.

      Practically of visiting this over water country would depend on your trip. Whales tale is in the white mountain nit far from Clark's trading post/trained bears and within a hour from Santa's Village and Storyland. Water country is in Portsmouth and if your looking to hit Canobie and Funtown you Practically go by it since it's the southern coast of the state. I've been to water cou ty a couple times it's a large park I've only stopped by whales tale to take picture but all the white mountain attractions have an amazing charm to them and customer service from the mostly family owned parks is great.

    We took our son & his best friend here for a weekend several years ago & it was wonderful. We love NH. We loved this water park. They have excellent drinks & food too. The only thing is it’s a bit smaller of a park & the weather can be cooler. But it was a very nice time.

    loving your reviews of the New England parks! I'm local and grew up going to all these places so brings back great memories. Curious if you would review Clark's Trading Post. It is right across the street from Whales Tale and when I was a kid my family would always take us to Whales Tale for the afternoon discount after spending the day at Clarks. Haven't been in YEARS but I remember Clark's being a pretty weird place... I remember the main attraction was a train ride where a crazy old wolf man with a gun chased us around the outskirts of the park.... Strange stuff lol

      I haven't been to Clark's Trading Post in over 20 years. I need to revisit it before reviewing it.

    Me and my friends went yesterday and we all loved the downpour slide that you said was slow, it was only slow if you wear a t shirt. But for us we know the proper way to ride slides no shirt and we put most of weight on ankle and shoulder blades and we went flying down the downpour slide and loved it and were violently thrown out at the exit

      What sucks for me is that because of my light skin, I usually have to wear a t shirt so I won't get sunburned as bad

    The plunge used to give you these blue mats to slide on, curved at the front like a toboggan. This was my favorite park, specifically because sliding down a steep slope like that head first on your stomach was just something you can’t get anywhere else, super intense. Sad to see it go, but I understand it wasn’t the safest thing.

    Which full ride parks have waivers pre-entry? I'd assume if you need to sign a waiver, you can't be unescorted when you are under 18 because 18 is the mimimum age to sign contracts (waivers included). Also, when I told about this park requiring a waiver to sign to my coworker, I was told by my coworker that he agrees that people should sign a waiver, or at least require people at least 18 to be alone, though some people are different on age to be alone. I was 17 when I went to Six Flags Magic Mountain on 2/29/2020, which wouldn't mean that if someone didn't agree on me being alone, I would be stopped as it was allowed for me to be alone at 17. I had permission by my parents for that as it was understood that my dad likes to go to parks when it isn't too crowded and I wanted to do something for the leap day that Saturday.

    The reason for the awkward runoff on Downpour is that they used to be mat slides. They used to stop the mats in a more gentle way like that

    This is a weird comparison but this reminds me of my local park in sandcastle. It has a lot of classics for its type but it does have a few new modern slides especially since we’re getting a trapdoor slide for 2022

    For drop pod slides do you prefer proslide or white water west

    • @CanobieCoaster
      @CanobieCoaster  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For me, it usually depends on the drop steepness and slide smoothness.
