I really appreciate that you do this. When I became interested in exploring hairstyles, and specifically pompadour styles, I found your reviews quite helpful. I started with Slick Devil's, and more recently Imperial Classic. Just ordered Railcar today and am looking forward to trying it. Keep up the good work, and thanks again!
I have dense, wavy hair about 6 inches long on top and undercut short on the sides so I don't have to worry about smoothing the sides down. However, Railcar pomade, even in standard hold, straightens out my waves and holds my hair fantasically when applied to damp hair. I don't do tall pomps at all, but more of almost an executive contour with very long hair which doesn't necessarily warrant crazy hold. I used to be partial to strong hold pomades, but this has quickly become my favorite.
i tried cool grease flat(the green bottle) and layrite super hold, but both of them can't hold. i am thinking about to get this one or daimon barber pomade i want to know which one is better, or i should just try oil-base product. thanks a lot.
Hey man im a big fan of your videos. I would highly recommend founders pomade its somewhere around 11 bucks or so for a pretty decent sized jar its a wb and really strong of a hold
I like your reviews. May I know which one has better hold when Slick Devil vs Daimon Barber. I want to have a huge pomp. And which one do u prefer and may i know why. Thank you.
Hey Pomp! Great video! Was wanting to know if you can do a review of the Royal Crown Pomade (not hair dressing) also, is it possible to do a successful pompadour with wavy hair? I guess my wavy hair isn't long enough yet(just down to the brows) but everytime I try the pomp, it seems to seize up and form a lip when it settles! And suggestions?
I have two questions. Wut do u mean it is slightly stronger than admiral, is it the hold?? And will the strong hold of railcar have the same smell as the standard hold?
I have it and been to Arcadia more than I have fingers The Pomp and I love the scent but I love J S Sloane scent or WB sweet georgia brown pomade scent better
Any recommendation for a pomade with least fragrance? I guess I am sensitive to the smells of most of these products and I can't find anything without or with minimum smell. Thanks
Elijah Reeder Arcadia is in southern California. close to Pasadena pretty close where the 6-5 meets the 210....you can just google arcadia california LOL and they website of the pomade has the address.
Oh lol ok, I just wanted a general area of where it was I didn't wanna have to go do all this research but I know where Pasadena is, it's like 20-25 minutes away, might make a drive down there and pick it up, looks like somethin I gotta add to my collection.
the jar looks an amber color and didnt know how many oz. were in the jar but James German brewers dont make their own cans. they buy them from different sellers. and when it comes to pomade being original is a big thing. but i have OCD and im a perfectionist so it does matter to me anyways. but good to know their different jars but the labeling (ingredients) reminds me of TIS right?
Iron society is a douchebag brand. It's waaay overpriced for one and it's for the guy who wears Affliction t-shirts, drinks 2 or 3 craft beers and beats up a guy smaller than they are. It's a "Tough Guy" pomade..😂😂👎👎

I hope, I can have it!
I always look at your review james! Terima kasih!

This stuff works well and smells great. I had to wait almost 3 weeks to get it though. Buy 2 if you don't wanna wait around.

how long did it take you to grow your hair? Any tips on how to grow the sides out? My hair just sticks out and looks like an afro.

How come you haven't review any of the Hanz De Fuko products, like Modify Pomade?
the only wb pomade i've used that will stain a pillowcase; rinse it off before bed. great product though.
Thanks for the info.
Thankyou.. God bless ❤
How does this compare to Boulevard nights in scent and hold. Is RFG a way better choice?
I have two questions. Wut do u mean it is slightly stronger than admiral, is it the hold??
And will the strong hold of railcar have the same smell as the standard hold?
wat is the best smelling pomade in besides this one
lol checked out the blog, peeped the supreme cdg pickup :)
can you show us your collection?
James Please review Railcar Fine Good (RFG) Supreme Hold :)
Good review, as always
The can looks a bit like the iron society.
did he already review the modify pomade?
I have it and been to Arcadia more than I have fingers The Pomp and I love the scent but I love J S Sloane scent or WB sweet georgia brown pomade scent better
How good would this work on someone with curly and wavy hair?
Any recommendation for a pomade with least fragrance? I guess I am sensitive to the smells of most of these products and I can't find anything without or with minimum smell.
Thanks
ipritsker Suavecito unscented pomade
Does this pomade have a lot of shine?? because i want this but im more of a matte type of person,
ps love your vids!
its water based so you wont get any shine after it dries
it leaves a very nice natural look, doesnt dry into a helmet, yet stays matte.
my God. i love the color
holy fuck you use so much pomade at once.
He has a lot of hair and you're supposed to use more pomade than other types of products like clay or wax
this over the daimon barber? or would the daimon barber still be no.1?
Reza Fauzan
i have to disagree. i find Daimon Barber hold to be much stronger than Railcar. both great products however.
Why do you let your hair grow out so long? Don't you think styling gets a little bit annoying when it gets to long?
didn't like the smell at first but then it grew on me. great smell
Hm, can anyone list the ingredients of this pomade? I can't find the info anywhere even with my Google-fu skills.
water,ceteareth-25,glycerin,PEG-7 Glyceryl cocoate,polysorbate 20, PEG 40hydrogentated castor oil,PVP,DMDM hydantoin caramel,PEG-8 beeswax,propylene glycol,polysorbate 2,fragrance
What city do I get this from?
Arcadia my friend
pool741 What cities are around that I've never heard of Arcadia

Elijah Reeder & The_Pomp. Would you prefer this over Admiral?
The exact same jar as iron society. Not a 10 in originality don't you think?
So they used the same jar brand? Who cares? Not every pomade maker is going to make their own jars.
I own both. They're different sizes (3oz vs. 4oz.), different tints (brown vs. clear), actually different jar brands, and very distinct design styles.
The jars are not the same actually.

Too* excuse me. Figured I correct myself before some 12 year old tries to be all smart.
want an advice? You need a damn haircut dude.
i fucking agree lol
Too much product lmao
The smell is gay. It's like flowery and nauseating. I have a brand new jar and don't use it because of the way it smells
Would this be good for thick, slightly wavy hair ?
