    I had this video on in the background while working and could not look away. I’ve followed Camila’s content for years and have always appreciated her humbleness, kindness, and her relatable approach to fashion. This goes to show you never know what someone has gone through. Bravo to her for persevering and the resilience throughout her success. Great video Valeria! You’ve created a welcoming environment in your podcasts! 😊

    You are so right about Camilla, I can feel her energy even through the screen! I have only admiration for her journey of strength and resilience and she's a beautiful example of choosing oneself time and again, whatever life throws at you!
    Dear Valeria, what an honest and intuitive interviewer you are, you truly make your guests shine! I feel my heart expand every time I listen to an episode, but this one was so generous! Thank you ❣

    I’d love to be able to reach Camila. My husband does research on epilepsy and ways to help people that don’t respond to medication. I know she is a huge voice for the cause in the US and it would be really nice to show her their work!

      That’s amazing that your husband does epilepsy research. I’ve had it since birth, as has my brother, sister, my mother diagnosed in her 40’s, my dad had when he was a child but outgrew, then my aunt got hers in her 40’s. Literally no research. Thank you 🙏🏽

    I’ve been following Camila for years and years, she was one of the people who first got me into beauty, back in 2010. I had no idea about her epilepsy diagnosis until fairly recently and I’m so glad she opened up about it. I too had a healthy baby girl 15 months ago - also on medication, Keppra. It would’ve helped me a lot to see that representation when I was first diagnosed aged 17 in 2010 too. It can be a very isolating diagnosis because you can’t really do much of what everyone else around you is doing and there’s not many public figures who struggle with it. So much love to her ❤️

    I wonder which medicine she is on. Many of the medicines can have really difficult side effects.
    Still unclear which type she has. I wonder what kind it is that is easier to be managed with medicine. I've never heard of a dysrhythmia type.
    And interesting what she says about it being a vein in the brain that will stop working for a second and that triggers it.

    • @theophila214
      @theophila214 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And very true about the lack of sleep and mental stress as two big triggers to push back on very consciously.

      if you knew what type of med she's on and what type of ep she has you'd give her your professional opinion, or what? It6's hers and hers doctor issue

    • @theophila214
      @theophila214 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@deavea Uh, no, that's quite presumptuous of you to think so negatively.
      Maybe I'm trying to learn how she handles it & want to know more.

      @deavea ปีที่แล้ว

      @@theophila214 she still has her right not to share more details than she wants to

    • @theophila214
      @theophila214 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@deavea I'm not forcing her to do anything. I'm trying to understand how this disease works (symptoms, treatments, side effects).
      As she mentioned, it is a choice to share personal information like this, but it can help other people.
      Information on the internet is very poor. Especially for complex health issues like this. Sites like healthline, webmd, and the foundation too, etc., etc., give very, very limited, superficial information.
      It's very hard to try to *find* information that is comprehensive, in depth, and articulate.
      She is very articulate, has been through this & is a trust-worthy source. What she can offer is a helpful learning tool.
