Joylight | Realistic and programable navigation light system for RC vehicles

This is a system made for RC airplanes to generate realistic and customizable navigation lights, you can control them from your radio control or simply let them run continuously. The source code and schematics will be available soon for the community to experiment with.

the file is out there for the case as well. Watched a video of one epoxy sealed with a 3D printed case. The files for EVERYTHING are open. You just have to do a couple hours of work. Thanks for sharing. You’re making me reconsider my life attitude. Awesome content!👍

to protect the led , you can minimize the current coming to it by using a low value resistors , thanks for your video

This is awesome. I wish I had the skills to do something like this. But I don't so pre order it is!
I would take this to market if I were you. I know there's other light controllers out there but why not go big? Giving it away is very nice of you but I think your giving up a good potential opportunity. There's got to be a company that will make the boards for you. Very nice work tho, can't wait to try it out.

I don't have the skills myself, that's why I paid some programmer and an engineer to design my idea. Originally I wanted to do the whole product ready to go including high quality lights or at least good enough preserving the good price, after the pandemic and setbacks I lost momentum and now I'm perusing other projects.

I recently learned that you gender a connector based on the pins. For example the servo connectors you showed are actually female. I would love to order this but I don’t even have my plane flying yet :)

Can I split the power off one lipo to both the ESC and this light board?

From 7v to 17v, yes you can split the connection of a lipo to power it.
