r/surfacegaming disagrees. No reason you can't play titles on this thing. Sure it isn't going to be in the same league as a gaming notebook, but I've never understood this response. A civic isn't meant for racing, but people seem to spend plenty of time messing under the hood on it.
@@cbutters yeah, I had a surface pro 2 and 4 only for pc gaming for years before I got my steam deck. Pushed those things as hard as I could lol. I knew they weren’t made for gaming, but I played what I could on them and I was happy. I didn’t bother comparing them to a gaming PC because that wasn’t its main purpose for me
@@AgentZeroNine1 the lunar lake’s gpu is massive. It’s the only part of that chip that wasn’t neutered. It’s about as meant for gaming as igpus get. Snapdragon X elite is legitimately not meant for gaming. At least not until more games natively support arm
I am happy that QCOM continues to improve its drivers. However, if gaming is that important to you, get a gaming laptop with an Nvidia GPU. There is no substitute.
I tried to disable VBS on my AMD Surface Laptop 4 but it didn't work. Did the registry edit and Windows still says VBS is on.
Still underwhelming compared to Lunar Lake which on Cyberpunk 2077 is closer to 60fps at 1080p low with XeSS quality.
Who cares, this things not meant for gaming

@@christianr.5868Lunar Lake isn't meant for gaming either, but can game and is similar in efficiency if not better.

X Elite CPUs arrived too late. No one should choose an ARM equipped Windows or Linux device over a Lunar Lake device.
