  • Today I give you a very in-depth overview of the systems and features of the new Porsche Taycan. There is a lot of new technology in this car so this is a long video, hopefully it will answer a few questions!
    Speaking of which, please comment or ask a question in the comments section and if you'd like to see anything in particular about the car, let me know!
    More videos to come soon!

    I am quite sure that when you decided to make this review you couldn’t imagine that you would win the thophy🏆of the very best Taycan review ever done in the world. Congrats for this
    deluxe superb presentation. The calmness in the presentation of hundreds of items very much shows the domain of the Taycan car. Thank you.

      It makes me decide to own Taycan GTS. It's a bit pricey anyway it would be the first and last EV to an old man of 76.

    Great walkthrough.
    Just an FYI, at 15:05 you pull up the trip info in the right dial. If you then press on the wheel at that time you can change it to the sense charging or total values as well. You can also reset the current trip counters.
    Also one of the most handy things about that trackpad is while driving you can hand right in an address or business name as sometimes the voice control can be a little bit confused. Also on day of pickup I disabled the "Hey Porsche" automatic recognition. My left thumb works quite well. I think that is a gimmick, I do appreciate the electric sport sound though which I know you are not a fan of. 😉

    Nice car.
    I drive a seriously winding, busy road. I live in Canada so some times you need to get heat to the windshield right away to stop the windshield from fogging up and becoming a serious hazard. As a result I like a dial so I can immediately set the defog option and control the volume of hot air flowing to the windshield, if the need arises. Using a dial, I don't take my eye off the road (which I can't afford to do). I wonder how others feel, especially if you drive in a cold climate where your windshield can quickly fog up?

    • @WestCoastSupercarsandClassics

    Sweet review. Only thing I would have configured instead would be the Mission E wheels and the black window trim. Also what white paint is this and how much did you pay for this config?

    • @WestCoastSupercarsandClassics
      @WestCoastSupercarsandClassics  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is Carrera White Metallic paint, Porsche was offering a bunch of discounts on the 2020 4S so even with the wheels and an extensive options list (I guess I should get into that in another video) it was mid-$150K.

    • @WestCoastSupercarsandClassics
      @WestCoastSupercarsandClassics  ปีที่แล้ว

      You need the fob with you. It keeps track of your location as well so when you approach the car unlocks and the handles pop out. Also when you try to lock it, you have to stay close by or it won't lock.

      I'm not into using my phone to get into my car, honestly. My sister has it on her Model 3, she also has to fart around with her screen to get the wipers to work... not for me!! :)
