Lügner can’t tell anyone either even though he was smart enough to actually figure it out, just a tad bit too late.
That is why Flamme told her to suppress her mana her whole life and to live in obscurity, it's all a ploy to trick demons into lowering their guard. Notice how Lugner never saw Fern as a threat (even turning his back on her) until it was to late. Same thing happened with Aura. That's probably why Frieren never bothers to explain to people who she truly is, just in case word gets around to other demons.

@@SoulFeather111she kinda was. She survived after all, they just were never able to deal with her cause while she overwhelm you with her soldiers she can escape. But here she simply got overconfident
Also along those lines: Aura says Frieren has about 100 years of training based on her mana, and that she hasn't changed since 80 years ago. And Heiter says that back then, Frieren had around a fifth of his mana. So Heiter just casually has the mana equivalent to 500 years of training in his early 20s or something like that

Why should we respect monsters who speak human language and use words to deceive humans? Why can demons deceive humans with words, but humans are not allowed to deceive demons?
On the note so do we know how strong other party members are compared to frieren? Hieter doesn't look very strong, eisen is about to be surpassed by strong so i doubt he is comparable to frieren either. Himmel looks the strongest cuz he is the hero but is he stronger than freieren?
The thing is when the mana soul measuring have already started, it can't be stopped mid-way. Basically point of no return, so Aura already lose when she decided to duel Frieren with mana. She probably could've win if she just attacked Frieren using the undead soldier that she collected. Yeah basically "I've made a mistake!" moment for Aura right there.
I love frierens confidence. her confidence is based on facts. telling fern she will never be as skilled as her in her entire life, warning draht about how strong she is, telling aura who she is trying. frieren is HER. not just that but her personality overall is just so nice to watch throughout this show.
I love this philosophy of demons. How their strength is so tied into their pride, the notion of constantly hiding it is utterly alien to them. The best equivalent I could think of is this: It would be as if an animal spent it’s entire life, pretending to be an undesirable mate, it’s just something they cannot comprehend; pretended to be…”lesser” for more than just a brief moment. Just shows that these demons truly are just beasts.
Just to rub it in Aura's face even more, the ending song starts playing, "And are you alright? Can you hear me?" Bruh, she's not alright, and she won't be able to hear anything from now on
if you do the actual math, feiren is like 1500. she has only been training under flames instruction for 1130 (studied under her for 50, it’s been 1000 since she died and she was with hero party for10 and the hero died 80 years) she was already a super powerful before they met meaning she was already several hundred years old even then. i see why the demons hunted down the elves race. Feiren in a previous episode states she hasn’t seen another elf in over 400 years, and that girl likes to travel, she would have found some if they existed.
7:27 "why don't they just learn?" Well, to be fair, before Frieren and Fern, Flamme is the ONLY one who does this, nobody else, so the demons don't bother adapting to the exception... And any demon that comes across her got absolutely clapped anyway. No demon ever lived to tell the tale of "oh, this is how she beats us" or "this is what she did" and such. As far as the demons are concerned, Flamme killed them "somehow" cuz she's a genius while Frieren had Himmel's party to cover her.

Something to consider; why did the Demon King want to exterminate Elves? The show literally says people's mana is typically reflective for how long they've been developing it. Which race lives the longest again?
I love how demons are just constantly shown to be animals, picture a wolf, yes it might pretend to be hurt to fool a prey, but it won't spend its entire life acting hurt to fool prey, because the rest of the pack will turn on it, so even if a demon did try and suppress their mana their whole life to instant clap someone, they woukd be considered the lowest of the low
I had only just realized that at the moment of 3 years into her apprenticeship (in the town), Frieren's suppressed mana looks like it has jagged outline. Then cutting to the point of 50 years into the apprenticeship, her suppressed mana looks a lot smoother, showing how she has improved. Then, looking at Frieren's reflection in Aura's eye, her mana is completely smooth. That's some insane detail Fern's mana when looked at by Lugner has smooth outline as well. She can do what took Frieren 50 years to do, but, i don't blame Frieren since she's suppressing an amount that's like 10x Fern's lol
It's cool how Flamme's era wasn't the same medieval age of exploration we see in Himmel's era like how most fantasy media does. Instead, it's Roman-inspired, since it's a 1000 years in the past. Really builds the world.
To be fair, Aura was cautious enough to have Frieren use her mana for the scales to more likely turn to Aura's favor~ Unfortunately for Aura, she got cocky and still got tricked by Frieren's displayed mana~ Frieren was just smurfing her mana like that~
A good thing about Frieren is that mana=stamina, not power, so even though someone has a absurd amount of mana, it doens't mean they are stronger, just like Qual had less mana than Frieren, but was a stronger mage/fighter than her. This make the fights and power levels more balanced in this universe, if not, there would be no way a human could ever beat a demon, elf or other race that lives for hundred of years, so making mana be more like stamina than power, help's a lot.
I like that this anime shows every fight in an unique way. What I'm saying is that it don't use the full of action and movements scene for the fights like JJK, instead it goes to show them in like an epic and even dare to say in a poetic way which, at least for me hits me more deeply. For instance, in this fight, even when everything was "calm" and "slow paced" I almost cry the moment Frieren release her mana. It's soo beautiful how this anime tells and show the fights
Respect for the editor... i must confess this has some of the most beautifully animated feet in anime...so it's understandable he had to blur it, TH-cam would have sanctioned the video...
Aura estimated Frieren as a 100 year old mage. Heiter said she had a fifth of his mana, that means Heiter in his teens was 5 times more powerful than a hundred year old elf mage. The hero party was crazy strong.
More likely that when they scouted her, she was already suppressing her mana just that much. Because Heiter's appraisal is that she was mediocre based on the mana he could sense, and Himmel just went with his gut that there was more to her.
More like Aura estimated she had about that much training. Not that she was that old. You can use your life on things other than training magic. Like getting drunk.
She was suppressing her mana that much, you can see it when Heiter looked at her mana. She was trying to dissuade bad adventurers from recruiting her, but Himmel saw through it. In current day she suppresses it to a 100y old mage level, cause people know who she is, so she makes it to a level that is big but still believable.
8:30 Oh...shite. Iwas just thinking about how does Frieren deal with a 1000 years of supressing her mana, and Lupa mentions her need to sleep so much!!! Damn, that was insightful!
Graf granat mentioned in episode 9 that aura's magic has a fatal flaw that whoever has a strong will can resist the spell temporarily. and when frieren told aura to unalive herself, it looks like aura has a strong will to defeat frieren and trying so hard to resist her own spell. that fatal flaw makes aura's death more brutal.

@@Despotic_Waffle i mean we have statements from aura saying she would be able to recognize if someone were to deminish their mana rather than hide it comepletely because it takes on a sort of unstable flickering property (she was just out of luck that frieren probably spent more time with her mana deminished then with it on full blast) but we saw even fern who is by all intents and purposes still a very young mage and she managed to supress her mana entirely, i mean i would imagine the hiding it completely is more physically taxing over long periods, if compared to muscles it would be difference between strength and endurance, hiding it comepletely for longer periods of time requires strength and deminishing it for long periods of times requires endurance, or it might be a case of the more mana you have the harder it is to hide it completely, or on the other side you might be right and its a case of either an unreliable narrator or a somewhat inconsistent worldbuilding, neither of which is a big deal imo
Why should we respect monsters who speak human language and use words to deceive humans?
Why can demons deceive humans with words, but humans are not allowed to deceive demons?
The music at the moment Frieren shows Aura the true scale of her mana is INSANE
Aura going through the five stages of grief in 2 minutes.
her party didn't protect Frieren, instead Frieren protects them
Ikr
The hero didn't protect Frieren from demon, the hero protect demon from Frieren
or should we say, Frieren let her party shine while she stayed lowkey, just like how Flamme wanted
Not really,Everyone in the hero party has their important role to do and they're the greatest at their role.
She made a cold and calculated move
But alas, Aura was bad at math
I love frierens confidence. her confidence is based on facts. telling fern she will never be as skilled as her in her entire life, warning draht about how strong she is, telling aura who she is trying. frieren is HER. not just that but her personality overall is just so nice to watch throughout this show.
Flamme and Frieren feets being censured got me 😂 I was not expecting it 😂
I love this philosophy of demons.
Can you hear me?"
Bruh, she's not alright, and she won't be able to hear anything from now on
That blur on their feet at 7:11. I cant, the editor knows whats up. 💀
if you do the actual math, feiren is like 1500. she has only been training under flames instruction for 1130 (studied under her for 50, it’s been 1000 since she died and she was with hero party for10 and the hero died 80 years) she was already a super powerful before they met meaning she was already several hundred years old even then.
i see why the demons hunted down the elves race. Feiren in a previous episode states she hasn’t seen another elf in over 400 years, and that girl likes to travel, she would have found some if they existed.
7:27 "why don't they just learn?"
Well, to be fair, before Frieren and Fern, Flamme is the ONLY one who does this, nobody else, so the demons don't bother adapting to the exception...
Not me consistently hitting refresh on the channel waiting for THIS Frieren reaction ALL week 😅
Funfact : Aura's Voice actress is Eren's Voice actor wife in real life.. You should know what the fun part is 💀💀💀
It's so funny that ayana taketatsu who do aura is married to yuki kaji who do Eren both of them lost their head the same week
Bruh
living proof that the AoT fandom still can't stop spoiling literally everywhere they go
@@animusswtor4822 how is that a spoil??? The manga ended 2 years ago and the anime almost 2 weeks , if you just started aot well I'm sorry for spoiling you
@@kikikim4589 it doesn't matter how long it has been over, if you go somewhere completely unrelated to the show and comment about a specific plot point - especially something like this - it IS a spoiler.
I have both read and watched it already, that doesn't mean everyone who comes to watch this reaction has.
My personal favorite manga ended 8 years ago, my favorite anime 14 years ago, and I still have never spoiled anyone on either, for comparison.
@@animusswtor4822 yeah so now what do you want me to do ??? You want me to delete my comment?
You're talking like 99% of the people here didn't watch it already , good for you you never spoiled anyone do you want a cookie
ED : And you alright?
Aura: Of course,no.
This fight was like the opposite of most anime fights, where instead of a surprise switch-up near the end, you literally have a whole episode explaining to you why the main character wins at the end. And yet it's still amazing. Also,
"Aura, kill yourself." That's so cold man.
Something to consider; why did the Demon King want to exterminate Elves? The show literally says people's mana is typically reflective for how long they've been developing it. Which race lives the longest again?
Yep yep! It’s very much a Shen and the pandas situation from Kung Fu Panda 2
She became a true gamer in the end
frieren really said “your life is as valuable as a summer ant”
I love how demons are just constantly shown to be animals, picture a wolf, yes it might pretend to be hurt to fool a prey, but it won't spend its entire life acting hurt to fool prey, because the rest of the pack will turn on it, so even if a demon did try and suppress their mana their whole life to instant clap someone, they woukd be considered the lowest of the low
"Frieren showed that she's just a low tier mage"
Freiren really said Domain Expansion with the size of that mana😂
I had only just realized that at the moment of 3 years into her apprenticeship (in the town), Frieren's suppressed mana looks like it has jagged outline. Then cutting to the point of 50 years into the apprenticeship, her suppressed mana looks a lot smoother, showing how she has improved. Then, looking at Frieren's reflection in Aura's eye, her mana is completely smooth. That's some insane detail
Fern's mana when looked at by Lugner has smooth outline as well.
Never seen Sheera so excited 💯
censoring the feet is craaazyy 7:14
Fr😂
The Most Badass moment in this Year
To be fair, Aura was cautious enough to have Frieren use her mana for the scales to more likely turn to Aura's favor~
Unfortunately for Aura, she got cocky and still got tricked by Frieren's displayed mana~
Frieren was just smurfing her mana like that~
Frieren said “I smurf your peak”
It's soo beautiful how this anime tells and show the fights
this is why frieren is searching for all spells, she wants to find one that is special just like Flamme had with the flower magic
She is going around getting these weird spells because Himmel liked it. If she wanted all the spells, she would have gone to see Serie
I swear to god, I would be 100 times happier if I was a friend with Lupa 😂😂
Yup
With this episode, we can now confirm that a chest monster can solo the sages of destruction
Aura: "No! There's no way you can kill me! I am a demon who lived 500 years!"
Frieren: "Skill issue."
Unless I’m cracked but that ending point of view was Arura head falling to the ground
3:29 Respect Lupa for the random Kung Pow reference lmao
Respect for the editor... i must confess this has some of the most beautifully animated feet in anime...so it's understandable he had to blur it, TH-cam would have sanctioned the video...
Super excited Sheera warms my heart
I'm stoked I got to see this reaction.
That final line by Frieren. COLD!
Frieren gave Aura the LTG treatment
Chat:
Aura [TheGuillotine]: Frieren you suck noob low lvl
Frieren [TheSlayer]: Aura KYS
*Aura Has Lost The Connection*
8:30 Oh...shite. Iwas just thinking about how does Frieren deal with a 1000 years of supressing her mana, and Lupa mentions her need to sleep so much!!! Damn, that was insightful!
I like the little smile Frieren has as she turns from Aura
Aura was clapped by her own spell while Frieren just stood there. she was negative one-tapped.
That feet censor nearly gave me a stroke.😂😂 Nice editor.
basically this is Dragon Ball Z stuff.
Hiding their power to prevent from being detected and fooling their enemies.
"And you alright"
Aura: YOU THINK I'M "ALRIGHT"?!
Its the toji moment all over again😂
Graf granat mentioned in episode 9 that aura's magic has a fatal flaw that whoever has a strong will can resist the spell temporarily. and when frieren told aura to unalive herself, it looks like aura has a strong will to defeat frieren and trying so hard to resist her own spell. that fatal flaw makes aura's death more brutal.
Dont forget the fact that frieren has already 1000 years old when she meet himmel and spent just merely 10 years on that journey..
One of the coldest kills I've ever seen. Absolutely badass!
10:35 that is so raw.........
Love the excitement at Frieren's mana reveal!
Fitting that Aura died the same way all those soldiers did- ordered to cut off their own heads…
10:51 Frieren went full on LowTierGod on Aura (if ykyk)
KYS was crazy lol. The hair cutting detail was nice. Love this show and Frieren is cool too
The music has been so fire this series man. That was the one thing I was worried about when the anime got announced but they're killing it.
Frieren really hit her with the "kys"
@ 3:28 I caught that Kung Pow reference Lupa! You ain't slick!😂
