TH-cam should feature more content like this, with a strong emphasis on authenticity, showing the genuine warmth of people and, of course, the incredible food. Congratulations for this production.
TH-cam is just a clean sheet of paper for the people to use. Its up to the people to provide the content and attract followers. Just what this channel is doing.
Less than 10 minutes into the video and Atlanta already feels like home. I've visited before, but this footage really captures the city's essence. It's no surprise that so many people are drawn to live there.
What a wonderful day this is seeing Dirt in my feed. Great timing to relieve my seasonal depression. Thanks Huckberry and crew for all you do on this show.
The south is a very special place. Dirt does good by our cities down here. You guys do it justice. Don't stop now. You're just getting started. Charleston, SC. Nashville, TN Memphis, TN. Savannah, GA. Hunstville, AL. Having lived in all four corners of the states, the south is where your mouth needs to be, and the people and culture put it over the top. I love it here!
I'm new to your channel but I found myself enrapt by the gorgeous storytelling and rich culture you found throughout Georgia. I'm a Georgia native and I have a deep and profound love for the incredible diversity found within our borders. Thank you for also introducing me to these amazing gems right in my back yard. The tour of Ossabaw island made me really emotional for some reason. It's so beautiful and I had no clue it existed. I can't wait to order from these passionate businesses that call Georgia home.
A little late to the party but man.. Born an Atlanta native, I love Atlanta so much. Its a vibrant, growing city rich with culture.. Its the epitome of what America should be, a melting pot of cultures that blend together to make a cohesive, yet one-of-a-kind community. You can enjoy the city life of Atlanta, the rural life of cities like Ellijay, the suburban life of cities just outside the perimeter we call I-285, and even enjoy both the mountains of the Appalachians or the oceans of the Atlantic. Literally, everything is here for anyone to enjoy to the fullest.
This is the greatest insight to the real America, down and out with the real people who keep communities thriving and ever growing, irrespective of the times we are in. I love Huckberry keep doing what your doing champ!!
This is my hometown and a great glimpse at the variety and diversity of the state. Incredible photography and top notch production. Thanks for keeping the connections we can make as people central to the story. Best thing I’ve watched in a long time.
@@mljenk21 Using industry jargon, we think DIRT falls somewhere between Cinéma Vérité and Documentary styles of filmmaking. The DIRT crew captures authentic and unscripted moments with the people they meet along the the way, and use these moments to help tell the story of each place they visit.
I've been to ATL so many times and I didn't think I was going to enjoy this episode as much as the others, but this is ONE of my favorite episodes so far! You outdid yourself on this one. I love this series. Keep 'em coming!
Y’all literally nailed what makes Atlanta special. Absolutely the best representation of my city, second only to when Alton Brown took Anthony Bourdain to the Clairmont Lounge and Wafflehouse.
The vibrant energies of the culture in Atlanta is fantastic to see. I was fortunate to have experienced just a taste of this back in 2022 when I had visited from Australia. Ah, there's so much more to see and can't wait for my next trip to the States! God Bless the U.S.A.
This is a great fvcking series and I hope to see it for many years to come. My personal wish is to see more intimate engagements with the locals. More late night food and drinks. Give us a little more of that Bourdain vibe please. The world needs this channel right now!!
Love the positivity and straight up good vibes put out by these eps. So refreshing to see small scale producers out there killing it when it just seems like big business is doings its best to ruin it. Always a pleasure to watch your latest addition to the series!
THANK YOU for this episode! Thank you for shining a light on some amazing parts of Georgia! I am in the Athens area, quite possibly a metropolis worthy of its own episode-think music and food! Love the Savannah portion as well!!
These people knew that they were coming to document their restaurants and establishments. Keith Lee exposed what treatment can really be like here for regular folks.
I left ATL 13 years ago, now living in northern Thailand. But im so proud of where i grew up. Decatur born and raised. Georgia in general is just special. We do influence everything
The only time I use the office massage chair is when I can watch a new episode of Dirt. Thank you for the great episode. It felt like a cozy day in summer.
Having never been to Atlanta, you guys made it easy to fall in love with so many of the wonderful humans who shape their city & the surrounding areas with such pride and creativity. Ossabaw Island looked like a place out of a dream. This video made me nostalgic for a place I've never been. Incredible watch!!
If you have never had Banner Butter, please try it. It’s amazing. You can buy it at Whole Foods. I love the roasted garlic, basil, and parsley but for a really exquisite classic butter taste, opt for the sea salt. The butter is rich in flavor. It’s one of the highest quality and best tasting butters sold at a grocery store.
Thanks for showing the city of ATL and the state of Georgia in a positive light. This is the city I was born in and in the state I was raised. Y’all did a great job of showing the vibrancy of our state without resorting to the tired old tropes of the south. Thank you!
Wooo Running Nerds! Loved the minidoc, but you've only scratched the surface of Atlanta's culinary world. You could spend a two episodes on Buford HWY.
This series is really awesome! Josh really has a voice for narrating, the content is well thought out and you guys do a great job showcasing the realness of these communities you guys visit. Please keep it going!

Would have loved to see more of the footage that was shot around Savannah and Tybee! The fishing and shrimping community is vibrant around here, hate it wasn't featured more.
These are simply beautiful. Cultural significance not understated, Americanism at it's varietal perfection....please market these foodie adventures. I'm in!
Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou Dirt! I LOVE THIS SHOW. Except I get so hyped on adventure and film making I won’t be able to sleep tonight! Make a million more episodes!
