I love that man. The adversity he faces and the past family situation is something I can relate to. I wish him the best and I do think He is capable of being a top quarterback! He seems to be making very smart adjustments in his play and negotiations to cement him into this league.
People could not accept that what he did in HS, he could do in college. They also couldn’t accept that what he did in college, he could do in the pros.
There are alot of great players who never got rings but winning rings doesn't make a great person or a respected athlete. I respect his abilities, adversity, and dedication to his craft. Also his negotiation strategy is working beautifully for him.
I do believe winning rings is the amalgamation of talents with great coaching, faith in team, and sometimes a bit of luck as well. Many great athletes may never win rings because the locker room is not conducive for it
I think his so called lack of respect was a bit exaggerated by nonfootball people. He got offers from Florida, Auburn and Clemson- that is 5 star talent offers. He was selected in the first round as a QB in the NFL even though it was a late pick it was still first round.

He's a great QB. He doesn't need to throw for 4500+ yards to have his team in good position to win games. His legs open up the passing game better thanany other QB ever. He's what Vick could have been if he'd worked hard in Atlanta.

that man had 500 total yrds in a playoff game sheesh ... thats my QB!!
I play for the Ravens and my friend Amar we are both fans of Lamar Jackson
He was a 5 star no doubt i remembered how elite he was in those highlights back in the day he could’ve played Bama,Ohio st or any top program
So his Talent has Been from pop Warner to High School on to D-1 college into the Pros same Lamar #8. Crazy how something So GREAT that the NFL an Gatorade advertisement haven't put on a commercial that's an NFL stories about tragedy to triumph being God given Talent. An having to be doubted at each level, seeing him perseverance through it All with your mom at your side.
Lamar, you go action Jackson💜🐦⬛
The amount of people that hate on Lamar just to hate is outrageous
