It's pretty damn scary how a player can shoot from anywhere on the court while basically ignoring the existence of opposing defenders. Scientific studies need to be conducted on Curry, for real... 🎯
The answer is simple. He didn't conform to the standards of the era, choosing to perfect his shooting, thus allowing him to shoot from any range, providing him a niche skill that had long since been held in regard to 3-ball shooters like Ray Allen, Dale Ellis, Peja Stojakovic, Reggie Miller, etc., without the size advantage of a Dirk Nowitzki or a Kevin Durant. And unlike most of the other players, he's a point guard, who handles that ball like Steve Nash, but took way more shots than Nash, who tend to pass the ball instead. As such, Steph made a name for himself because he made plays by not attacking the rim, but by becoming so accurate from everywhere. Then, once you had to commit to defending him from afar, did he make you miss by driving past you and putting up a drop shot. Simply, he adapted and made defenders look silly for giving him space.

Curry is definitely a top 10 all-time great. Personally on my list I put Bill Russell down to #11, Curry to #9 and move Larry Bird to #10. I'd love to see Steph get that 5th championship, it would put him on that next tier of GOATs above Shaq and amongst Magic, Duncan and Kobe. I think it's important to get that 5th championship for best PG of all-time debates with Magic. With one more championship (and the Finals MVP would help a lot) I think Curry has a legit case to be over Magic or at the very least on his level. Such an amazing talent who's transformed the game in ways not many have. Can't wait to see what he does over the rest of his NBA career. I truly hope he wins another championship or two, I'm not a Warriors fan but I wish him and the Warriors all the best. I really like teams like these Warriors that draft their players and develop them and keep them together. They remind me of the Spurs a lot with Duncan, Manu and Parker in that regard and I think that's part of why I'm a huge fan of what they're doing.

I saw a photo of Steph year 1 vs 2022 Steph and he has put on some serious muscle mass.
If I had a choose a best 5 of all-time with 1 player from each position it would have to be Steph over Magic, of course by slimmest of margins.
Johnny Flynn catching strays LMAO
Mark Jackson doesn't get the respect he deserves for turning the team around
I hope curry sees this and is just reminded how great he really is
Steph has been my favorite player since kobe tore his achilles but I been watching him since 08 at Davidson I knew then he would be special but dawg I never expected him to be this amazing.
Curry is the PERFECT definition of
"Don't Judge The Book By Its Cover"
Damn, now this is a great video. Most just repeat the usual same old same old, but this had everything without dragging anything out.
I remember watching some of his games on tv when he played at Davidson and thought he would be pretty good in the NBA but I didn't think he would actually become the greatest shooter of all time and change the game.
2.6 million views just proves he’s underrated
The doctors saved one of the best dynasties in the NBA, I can't imagine Curry outside of the Golden State Warriors.
4:42 are we not gon talk about that 🤣🤣
Can y'all imagine if Curry didn't sit out 17 4th quarters in that season.
Bruh prolly be too 2 or 3 in point for a season
Would have gotten injured
my favorite player was ray allen until 2014 when i decided to support my hometown team gsw. it was awesome watching everything unfold
Great coverage guys!! I'm a Lakers fan, but love GS and Curry
Yes, Stephen Curry always remembers what his Mother told him. God writes your story and no one else. I don’t care who you are, when God is over your life, nothing and no one can ever come against you. 🙏❤️🙏
Nonstop sports love ur vids keepmup the work and curry so inspirational
12:06 KD added much more than scoring. They were able to go "small lineup" with SF as C. But I forgot to mention that SF was 6'11" with great reach, good leaps and good defensive instincts.
3:14 the 2019 finals were never tied at 2 a piece. The warriors were down 3-1, KD hadnt played a single game, KD comes back for one quarter in game 5 but gets injured again after scoring 9 points
Everybody gotta get their numbers right. This mistake happened at 13:14, not 3:14
Dope video 💯🔥🔥
good overall career scan but you missed what IMHO are the three key "background" supports for his meteoric rise: a fierce, cross training regimen that developed insane hand-eye skills, dribbling excellence, and unreal cardio endurance, superb nutrition program to build that frame up with solid weights, and insane devotion to improving his game in every detail. just ask some of the sportsguys and folks around Oracle from those years 2-5==he built himself a powerhouse, sleek frame to carry him to greatness.
Stephen Curry best shooter all-time 🔥🔥🔥
when curry retires from the nba there will never be another curry ever again
Trae will surpass Curry
@@joezxc hell nah... his shooting efficiency doesn't even come close to curry's..

How is Steph Curry’s story not the greatest basketball story ever!?

The ridiculous thing about the 1 spot is. Most "scouts" will call a 6"2 guard under sized and a 6"4 guard oversized.
6.2 is very high🙂.. I m 5.4

Hands down the Greatest player to ever play basketball. 🙇
Nobody can be as exciting and humble as this little guy right here, the way he has transformed the league. Really Shows where grit and determination can get you.

Steph curry proved his 10 player of time
I'm telling you, Steph is literally the Messi of the NBA. Even their back stories are similar in terms of them being the smallest person on the pitch/court, but still having the natural talent to destroy everyone.
Very informative, I greatly appreciate you Bro!
I swear you could make a one hour video of Steph Curry just shooting because he’s that good.
He’s insane bro
"He wasn't the greatest shooter of all time he is the greatest shooter of all time"
Curry is definitely a top 10 all-time great.
Steph Curry is a CHAMPION on and off the court! He is a FOCUSED baby face assassin with a TEAM mindset! GSW organization KNEW they had something SPECIAL and WAITED and PLANNED and ADDED to their VISION! GSW are CHAMPIONS! Their CULTURE is infectious and inspiring. GREAT decisions require GUTS to WAIT until it unfolds right before your EYES! And your REWARD for waiting is 4x NBA Champions with mature and young players who believe in the PROCESS of preparing themselves and others to be CHAMPIONS on and off the court. i thank you from the EAST coast for pursuing your desires with a WARRIOR attitude!
Curry is inspirational talent. Unbelievable. It's the very reason Kevin Durant is extremely jealous of Steph. He wants what Steph has so bad, KD doesn't have a home

I believe the timberwolves didn’t draft him because he wasn’t that good of a playmaker yet which at this time, chris pauls and rondos were vauled more than scoring pgs

Growing up he had a professional at his disposal (his dad), to train/teach him the game, along with near unlimited outside training resources due to his dad’s profession. With all of that, Stephen already has a leg-up. You combine that with a genetic component and the will to play, then the only question is when, not if.
Then why did Jordans's sons never make the nba?
@@hansennoah1 i dont know, maybe they didn’t want it as bad? You pose a good question. Jordan’s sons may just be an anomaly. I’d be interested to know how many pros have kids who go on to be pros themselves, percentage-wise.
