They were early example of shovelware. Plenty of licensed 3D platformer games reused the same engine and mechanics. They just didn't have the idea for a game and wanted to milk the franchises.
@@jasonlee7816 mainly the controls when you turn left or right, instead of the character immediately turning to that direction, they will do an awkward curve that causes your movements to be less precise. the mechanic of hitting your head against the wall is really annoying, sometimes you don't even know what you hit also your turn it "violent", sometimes you want your character to move slightly to the sides and they will turn 90° degrees instead also the levels were uninspired, you compare this to 102 Dalmatians, another Disney game, and there the levels are way bigger and have more stuff to explore and more diverse theming. theses are mostly just corridors with nothing to do except try moving foward and the bad controls kinda makes you want to just move foward, because back tracking sucks, so you kinda just finish the game in half an hour hope this answers
Funny how I was just commenting on the GBC playthrough of this game asking for this and here it is! Yay! Thanks for playing through this!
This game has levels 1 to 5 for The Lion King (1994) and levels 6 to 9 for The Lion King 2 Simba's Pride (1998)
These Disney PSX games look very similar, but I guess it makes sense if it's the same studio.
Also that they are full priced for less than an hour of game.

This game has many similarities with Tarzan on PS1, which came out 1 year earlier. Still, Tarzan is much better.

I played this year's ago
Aouch!
It doesn't feel the same as the older 16-bit counterparts.
It had a NICE box art, but the game is terrible.
Why is it terrible?
Looks like your video got squished.
It's like a 5 year old is playing
I bet the controls suck ass
