Never forget how to Party. I love Andrew W.K. In this video you can see him hoist a fan on his own shoulders for the "big hit song" . AWK isn't here for the money. He's here to connect. Pure gold, IMHO.
Man is still kickin ass today, his album from 2018 was damn good and the first 2 singles from his new album in 2021 are some legit heavy metal type shit, totally different sound but it’s awesome. His shows are still insane too.
He doesn't sound like this anymore; technically he sounds like a better singer, but it's not really good cause there's lots of us who loved the way he sang like this: hard, grunting, thick, out of breath, yelling. As well, everything he's done after The Wolf sounds far more experimental and the music is just more 'thin' that how BIG the music used to be with I Get Wet and The Wolf. Not everyone feels this way, some like the new stuff, but I definitely prefer Andrew from 1999-2005
I was at this show. Great show and nicer guy.

My god I miss the old Andrew. This was perfect, no need to mess with the formula.
