why is this so true man. thank to heavens for this man my professor thinks chemistry 1 is for only the elites of the world who have photo memory and have studied chemistry for the past 20 years. I did not even know the what a ion Was starting the year !
You are a superhero to me!! My chemistry teacher has taught me nothing you have taught me everything in chemistry. I have learned nothing from our chemistry book I have learned everything from your TH-cam channel. Thank you 🙏
I’m 43 and just went back to school after more than 20 years. I always struggled in math when I was younger and I just wanted to say that because of your videos I’m understanding chemistry and actually loving it like I can tell you do. Thanks a million for taking the time to share your passion and talent with those of us who struggle to comprehend it. It’s a tremendous help! God bless you for your time and effort.
Hey guys I'm a teen girl from India. Who has recently moved on to 11th grade with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. I'm just here, tryna review all of my concepts that I've learnt way back in 10th grade. And i have to comment today, ..that this is definitely not "one of the best channels", but Undoubtedly the only best ever channel in the entire TH-cam community. Hats off to this professor. My blessings with him & his family. Even as an indian, i find his accent soo simple n easy to understand, same goes for his method of teaching. For the sake of speed for solving the problems related to Molar Mass. I'd recommend a short formula, i.e, No of moles= Mass Given÷ Molar Mass. (You can try in your problems & match the answers) Thank You!
It's exactly the same formula he was using but he just didn't say it as a formula that's all it was like Molar mass 1 mol --------------------- x ------------------------- 1 Molar Mass

Professor Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for an exceptional video/lecture on How to Convert Grams to Moles in AP/General Chemistry. Converting Grams to Moles can be simple, however each problem comes with a degree/level of difficulty. This is an error free video/lecture on TH-cam TV with the Organic Chemistry Tutor.
you didn't look hard enough. why did the smart kid pass huh? I suggest you go talk to the kid with the high marks and ask them how and what they use to study. It will help my dude.
isnt it sad that i dont understand something from a chemistry teacher over weeks and i watch 1.41 minutes of a youtube video and i understand f the school system so much stress for no f ing reason
so basically: just divide mass given in the question by that atom/compound's mass per element's which can be found in periodic table ? tell me why chemistry teachers spend months trying to teach simple division!
I'm not sure how to navigate this topic but with the problems that my chem teacher gives. Example: When nitrogen gas and Oxygen mix, Nitrogen monoxide gas is formed. If you start with 100 moles of Nitrogen gas, how many grams of Nitrogen monoxide did you make?
I'm getting lost at 5:14 - I can't seem to grasp why it could change for another example problem. I'm not understanding how it could change in the event of another question/problem. Can somebody please help me understand this last conversion step, thank you!
i feel dumb, how do you know which unit goes where? maybe im not parsing the sentence, but how do you know 20g grams goes on bottom, or 40grams on bottom problem i keep having is im not sure which number goes where, my math process is right but not sure to tell which goes where, cancelling i understand
the units you want to convert (ex. g in this video) always come first in the equation. you put them over one (30 g C/1). then you simply put the number with corresponding units underneath the next one. to put it simply, you want your units to cancel diagonally, so you have to have one unit on the top and one on the bottom. hope this helps!
I must be doing something wrong with my calculations or your wrong for the first time 😅. (Definitely me) but when u added for the molar mass for question 5 I got 312.34,

The compleat failuler of the united states education system. I'm having the same problem. My chemistry teacher can not teach simple math.
@@GamingWithNikolas If your chemistry teacher can't teach math well, that's their fault, not the education system's.
@Lily Yu Now that I think about it, the school system could have stricter requirements for teaching.
@Lily Yu Wow. That sucks.

going to take chem 1A for spring semester! I'm so glad I found your video to prepare myself

You make this so simple, thank you so much.
God bless you man I deadass wish you all the best you’re an amazing person ❤️❤️❤️
literally the best out here. i just started moles and your tutorials are immaculate.
Thank you so much this genuinely helped and I was really stressing:)
what is the point of this fraction stuff? why cant you just go (n = m/M), ie known "grams" of substance divided by the substance's Molar Mass??
you’re a lifesaver, thank u
thank youuuu this is way easier than my way
you are an absolute life saver, thank you so much!!

how do you convert larger compounds of grams to a smaller compound of moles, for example, 204.00 grams of H2SO4 to moles of O?
Thank you so much for the help! I really appreciate you helping us. You deserve more subs. ✌😄

awesome! where is the English subject version of this Program!!!

there's one thing i don't understand aren't you supposed to use 6.02x10 in a power of 23???
You're dumb as hell
@@shshshshshhs3644 who shit in your cereal?
you only do that when you are going from moles to atoms, not atoms to moles. then you multiply by 6.02x10^23.

20 g of carbon goes on the top because it’s your given. always start with the given number in the problem. 40g is the conversion factor
