I mean a team up booster box is like 1000-2000 dollars and even if you pull the latias and latios alt art you still probably going to have a hard time making your money back.

I know I’m commenting on a VERY old video. I pulled up these old CTR vids because the discussion is nice while working… this one spoke to me while grinding away and caught me by surprise. Making the change for work life balance is ideal. I def wouldn’t mind another NEW vid like this. 👍🏻

I paid £11.50 for this booster box. Just finished opening and sorting the cards. Mine are absolutely fake - cards are smaller, back art doesn't match other legit cards I have, no energy or code cards, guaranteed GX in every pack which faces the opposite direction of all other cards in a pack. I don't mind so much though because I am a very casual card fan who hasn't bought any cards in about 5 years. I just like the art and pokemon in general, sort of sucks that the three rainbow cards I got are fake because it takes away from the hype a little Long story short, I bought fake cards but don't really care. Thanks for helping me prove they were fake instead of having to take them to a card person and embarrass myself :)

It's kinda crazy how many people with Accounting and/or Finance backgrounds are into Pokémon. Haha Big four? Damn. I knew that wasn't for me right away. I just skipped all that BS and went straight to the scenario you're in now. (Well, I had to switch groups within my company but now we're all good lmao). COVID has actually helped in that regard too. Now we're pretty much WFH. We haven't gone back yet but will only be required to be in the office 12 hours a week. I'm right there with you in terms of the salary deal. I'd sacrifice that over work life balance all day. And you can always move up. What's also funny is that I see people taking those positions to have super nice cars and large homes. And then they're stuck paying for those things. So most of the benefit is tied to something so superficial. When you can work a job with good work life balance and be happy and have time for so many things that truly make you happy. Some people totally miss the point of life. I hope that they see the light some day.
The pull rates seem off… there is always a wild card, ie. Full art and/or hyper/secret rare and minimum 4 gx’s iirc in every box. Very suspicious but I could be wrong. I’d enjoy watching the mail videos; so when’s the next upload? Lmao
Ryan is a perfect example of Gen Z where they have this attitude of “I don’t want to work hard”. But then they expect free college, free healthcare, and everyone else to pay for them. This is why a major World War would be a good thing by forcing Gen Z to grow up and realize what hard work actually means.

Yesterday I opened up some old team up sleeved packs I had and every time I didn't get an alt art I just quietly said to myself "$40 dollars lost"
