  • I love my Instant Pot so I was so excited when I got the Pampered Chef Instant Pot. I wanted to see how they stacked up against each other!

I was going to ask for an instant pot for Christmas. Today I found a Quick Cooker at Goodwill for $20, with the crock included! I am over the moon thrilled, and your video confirms for me that taking a chance on it was the right call.

Great review thank you!. I've had a Quick Cooker for a couple of years after a successful Pampered Chef party. I confess I've never used it. I will now for sure! More reviews please, I love your no frills-down-to-earth approach.

I just earned my Quick Cooker 60% off this month for hosting a party. I'm so excited to get it in the mail. I've wanted one for a long time.
I also own the Deluxe Cooking Blender. I love Pampered Chef products.

I got my QC the same way this year September but haven’t used it because I wasn’t sure what to cook in it, but these videos and the little book that comes with it helps

That was a great video! I had an Instant Pot and was afraid to use it and found it complicated. I got the Quick Cooker and love it. It's almost idiot proof I say. It is easy and safer. Thanks Again!

Thanks for posting this. We have an instapot and have only used it a few times. My wife is showing an interest in the Quick Cooker so it is helpful to have this comparison. Thanks again

I have the Quick Cooker and it does a top notch job every time. If you have a friend with a sudden need for help with meals, you can quickly make a lovely one pot meal, like chicken pasta parmesan or beef stew and deliver it with short notice. I like it for the safety feature as well and was afraid of the Instant Pot for that reason. Thanks for the comparison!

I like the tone the QC makes, I’m going to use mine now that I have ideas, I’m thinking chili, pot roast and baked chicken

Thanks for this tutorial Chris. I just received my Pampered Chef Quick cooker and I have to agree with you that it looks so much nicer. I had no idea I will be able to cook hard boil eggs in 5 minutes.

Manual for five minutes - after it is done, let it sit for five minutes - then ice bath for five minutes! I've always had great results!

I have used pressure cookers all of my life. The so called older one had a top pressure guage 5, 10, 15 pound. If I want it to cool down fast i run very warm water other the whole cooker. food is just fine. My son bought me a insata pot 3 quart, which works just fine. After a long history of not being real scared of the guage burning me when the pressure is released. I wouldnt even buy a Papmered Chef pressure cooker. People will fall for gimmics and this that and the other, if the sales person can glamourise it enough.

Thanks for this. Had an instant pot for awhile now but it's old and needs to be replaced. I was trying to decide whether to get another one or try a different brand. The pampered chef version has too many options for me. I don't want to have to know how much pressure I need to use for each item and I don't want to have to adjust it or have to look up in a manual what the appropriate pressure is for my dish. I just want to push a button and have it work like I've been doing with my instant pot. For me it is more straight forward. But I do agree the Pampered Chef cooker is sleeker and looks nicer.

It’s hard to find comparisons for PC products vs other name brands. I wish you would do one on the Dutch oven (compared to Lidge, Quisenart, etc).

I have both. I like the insta pot better because it's simpler/easier to use.

I know that Pampered Chef only wants you to use their products in their cooker. I have a question, will the IP inner pot work in the Pampered Chef? I have extra IP inner pots and also a lid for slow cooking, don't want to have to buy again.

Maybe I got lucky with my Instant Pot. I have all the same settings and am able to easily release the steam without any risk to my hands. The inner workings of these are the same. One of the Pros for IP is the lid stands upright at the side of the pot and any condensation in the lid will quickly drip right back into the pot.

Chris does the Pampered chef come with some cook book or something? I'm not a very good cook but really want one. I have an old crock pot that is ready for the garbage.

How long does it take for your quick cooker to come under pressure?

    • @chrisspamperedkitchen-inde7815
      @chrisspamperedkitchen-inde7815  3 ปีที่แล้ว

It really depends on what you are cooking and how full it is. I usually try to plan on fifteen minutes just to be safe.

  • @missyla2u

What do you mean cooking potatoes and pot roast at the same time? Did I misunderstand?

Just bought quick cooker and have been watching TH-cam videos for ideas. I noticed you and others say 5 or 6 min for boiling eggs, but the guide says 12 min....with manual release.

  • @DonnaNixon

Don’t use your hand the release the pressure on the instant pot. Use one of the tools it comes with
